Medium risk
We rate an entry medium when the tool runs code, makes network calls or reads project files. Check what exactly it does before installing.
Why this level
- Agents read and write project files, including Excel models and note drafts, and KYC Screener handles client documents and personal data
- MCP connectors send requests to external data services such as FactSet, PitchBook, Moody's and Box
- The claude-for-msft-365-install plugin runs with Azure admin rights and changes user settings through Microsoft Graph

What it does
The repository plugs into Claude Code as the claude-for-financial-services marketplace with 19 plugins. The core is financial-analysis: skills for comps, DCF, LBO and three-statement models, Excel model and deck QC, plus 12 remote MCP connectors to Daloopa, FactSet, Morningstar, Moody's, PitchBook, LSEG, Box and other sources. The investment-banking, equity-research, private-equity, fund-admin and operations plugins add 49 skills and 33 commands such as /comps, /dcf and /earnings, covering CIMs and teasers, post-earnings notes, IC memos, GL reconciliation and KYC document parsing. Ten agents chain these skills into end-to-end workflows. Earnings Reviewer reads the call transcript and filings, updates the model and drafts the note; GL Reconciler finds breaks and traces their root cause; KYC Screener checks a new client's onboarding packet.
Who it is for. For investment banking, equity research and private equity analysts and fund administration teams working in Claude Code or Cowork.
Good fit when
- You need a DCF, LBO or comps table in Excel built from connected data sources
- A covered company has reported and you need to update the model and draft the note
- At month-end you need to find GL breaks, calculate accruals and write variance commentary
- You need to parse a new client's onboarding documents against KYC rules and flag gaps
Not a fit when
- You need an investment recommendation or a trade executed: the agents only produce drafts for professional review
- You need current market data but your team has no FactSet, Daloopa, PitchBook or similar subscriptions
- Your work follows non-US reporting: the templates assume 10-Q and 8-K filings and US bank conventions
Example request
Update our NVDA model after the quarterly print and draft the note with a variance table against consensusLimitations
The agents draft models, notes and reconciliations for review by a qualified professional. The README states this is not investment, tax or accounting advice, and the agents do not execute trades or post to a ledger. MCP connectors may need a subscription or API key from the data provider. As of October 1, 2026 the financial-analysis .mcp.json is missing a comma, so connectors may fail to load; check the server list with /mcp. Managed Agents API deployment needs an Anthropic key, jq and Python with PyYAML, and subagent delegation there is still a research preview.
How to disable. Remove the plugin from the /plugin menu in Claude Code, where you can also remove the claude-for-financial-services marketplace. In Cowork, disable it under Settings, Plugins.
FAQ
Which plugin should I install first?
financial-analysis: it holds the shared modeling skills and all MCP connectors. Each agent bundles its own skills but takes the data connectors from this plugin.
Does it work outside Claude Code?
Yes. In Cowork you add the plugins by the repository URL or upload a zip of a folder under plugins/. For the Claude Managed Agents API, scripts/deploy-managed-agent.sh deploys an agent with the same system prompt and skills.
What is claude-for-msft-365-install for?
It is an IT admin plugin that generates the manifest for the Claude add-in in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, so the add-in calls Vertex AI, Bedrock or your LLM gateway instead of the Anthropic API.

README in short
The README opens with a notice that the agents draft analyst work product for a qualified professional and neither give investment advice nor execute transactions. It then describes two ways to run the same source: as Cowork and Claude Code plugins or as Claude Managed Agents API templates. Tables list the ten agents, the vertical plugins, the MCP connector URLs and every skill with its command. A customization section suggests pointing .mcp.json at your own sources, adding firm terminology to skill files and teaching Claude your PowerPoint templates with /ppt-template.
