What it does
An unofficial skill set for financial analysts that adapts Anthropic's financial services marketplace to the Chinese equity market. Once the repository is added as a plugin marketplace, Claude Code gets 63 skills in six sections: Chinese equities (31), investment banking (10), private equity (9), wealth management (5), fund administration (6), operations and KYC (2). The skills build DCF valuations with the risk-free rate taken from Chinese government bonds, multiples comps, LBO and merger models, three-statement models, earnings reviews, morning notes, investment committee memos, due diligence checklists and client reports. Output follows Chinese accounting standards and the report formats of local brokers, and the china-xlsx-author and china-pptx-author skills write xlsx and pptx files. The repository also has four agent plugins: pitch, sector research, earnings review and model building. The skills take data from MCP servers in the mcp-servers folder with a priority order: paid Wind (44 tools), paid iFind (31 tools), free AkShare (9 tools), while news and exchange announcements come from a separate china-news server. If a source is unavailable or the plan lacks the needed section, the system falls back to the next one.
Who it is for. For analysts, investment bankers and fund managers who work with Chinese equities and want Claude Code to handle valuation, models and reports to local standards.
Good fit when
- You need a DCF valuation of a Chinese company with the risk-free rate from Chinese bonds and an Excel export
- A company has to be compared with peers by multiples in a table adjusted for the sector
- A pitch or merger is in preparation: a deal model, buyer list, teaser, memo and a pptx deck
- Earnings are out and you need a review with a model update, a variance table and a client note
- A fund needs reconciliation of net asset value, the general ledger and accruals with ready skills
Not a fit when
- You analyze US or European companies: the original Claude for Financial Services set is built for them
- You have no access to Wind or iFind and need ready data: free AkShare covers less, and the free iFind tier offers only stocks, bonds and indexes
- You need a quick quote and news in one place: a financial data MCP server such as Financial Datasets MCP Server suits that better
- You need an official Anthropic product with support: this repository is run by a third-party author

- This is an unofficial adaptation: the repository is run by jwangkun, while plugin manifests list "Anthropic FSI China" as the author. The project has no connection to Anthropic.
- Paid sources need keys: `WIND_API_KEY` with the `ak_` prefix and `IFIND_AUTH_TOKEN`. The free iFind tier gives stocks, bonds and indexes at two requests per second, while funds, news and macro data open from the personal tier.
- The data MCP servers are started by hand: `pip install -r requirements.txt` in the server folder and `python3 mcp-servers/<name>/server.py`.
- The marketplace name in marketplace.json is claude-for-financial-services-china, while the main file install commands use the -cn suffix. If Claude Code cannot find the plugin, take the name from the manifest.
- The skills describe sources and rates in Chinese and English, with no Russian text. Only the Chinese A-share market is covered.

How to disable. Remove the plugins with `claude plugin uninstall china-finance@claude-for-financial-services-cn`; for other sections take the name from the installed plugin list. Then remove the marketplace from the Claude Code settings. Stop the data servers and delete them from the MCP configuration, and clear the Wind and iFind keys from environment variables and mcp_config.json files.

How do I install skills for Chinese equity analysis in Claude Code?
Run claude plugin marketplace add jwangkun/claude-for-financial-services-cn, then claude plugin install china-finance@claude-for-financial-services-cn. Sections also install separately: investment-banking, private-equity, wealth-management, fund-admin. If the -cn suffix name is not found, check the marketplace name in marketplace.json.
Do I need paid Wind and iFind keys for this skill set?
No. Even without keys the main source works through free AkShare and the china-news server. Paid Wind and iFind plug in as higher-priority sources: the system goes to Wind first, then iFind, and only then AkShare.
How does the set differ from the original Claude for Financial Services?
The original targets US banks and Bloomberg, FactSet and PitchBook data. Here the same tasks are rewritten for the Chinese market: Chinese accounting standards, Chinese bonds instead of US ones for the risk-free rate, the Shenwan and CITIC industry classification and the report format of local brokers.

On an error or when the plan lacks the needed section, the system takes the next source along the chain Wind, iFind, AkShare. The IFIND_DATA_SOURCE_MODE variable sets the mode: wind-only, wind-fallback, ifind-fallback or akshare-only.
