What it does
The set gives an agent methodologies for Kotlin projects, packaged to the Agent Skills standard: each folder is a SKILL.md with frontmatter and step-by-step guidance, and several ship references and scripts. Skills fall into two areas: backend, such as correct JPA entity mapping, and tooling. Tooling covers Java to Kotlin conversion with dedicated notes for Spring, Hibernate, Jackson, Retrofit and other libraries, AGP 9 migration, the move from CocoaPods to SPM, setting up the Kotlin toolchain in Gradle, native build performance, and immutable collections migration. It installs as a Claude Code or Codex plugin, via the skills CLI, or by copying the folders you need. It is published by the Kotlin team as an incubator project.

The set covers two areas for now, backend and tooling, and is marked as an incubator, so its contents will change. Some skills assume Gradle and the Android Gradle Plugin, and several scripts are shell files that analyze the project. The skills provide methodology and guidance but do not replace a manual review of the migration result.
How to disable. Remove the plugin via /plugin or /plugins in Codex, drop the Kotlin marketplace, or delete the copied skill folders from the .claude/skills/ directory.
