What it does
LabArt gathers three visual-creation plugins in one Codex marketplace. Antibes Holiday draws relaxed black-pen illustrations, narrative scenes and expressive marks from a concept or reference. It also helps with early logo sketches. The skill rests on physical stroke behavior, confident incompletion and active blank space and does not imitate anyone's style. Tephra redraws any image as pixel art on a black background in one of two modes. Particle mode runs short strokes along the image structure and suits waves, smoke and light rays. Dithered tone mode keeps the image still and combs it into broken bands, which works for figures, sculpture and architecture. Rendering is deterministic and uses no model. Animations loop seamlessly, and the output is PNG, GIF and MP4. Deadpan Doodles (沙冰) makes transparent watercolor pen drawings with deliberately odd proportions and a straight face, from portraits and animals to small absurd scenes. A prompt builder script prepares the call package, and the host's image tool draws the picture.

The plugins target Codex. The PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license allows noncommercial use only. Tephra needs Python with NumPy and Pillow, plus FFmpeg for MP4. Antibes Holiday and Deadpan Doodles draw through the host's image tool, and Deadpan Doodles in standard mode requires attaching approved style images. A fixed prompt reduces style drift but cannot make the image model produce identical pictures. After a new version ships, reinstall the plugin and start a new task.
How to disable. Remove the plugin you want with Codex tools, or the whole labart marketplace entry. For a skill installed with gh skill, delete its folder from the Codex skills directory.

How do I install LabArt in Codex?

How do I install a single skill without the marketplace?
With GitHub CLI 2.90 or newer: `gh skill install haorantang97/LabArt plugins/tephra/skills/tephra@main --agent codex`. Change the path for another plugin.
How is Tephra different from ordinary image generation?
Tephra runs no model at render time. The same command with the same seed gives the same file byte for byte, so the image can always be rendered again.
Can I use the results in a commercial project?
The repository's PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license permits noncommercial use only, and commercial use needs separate terms from the author.
