What it does
Ads Skills is a Claude Code kit of four skills: linkedin-ads, meta-ads, google-ads and onboarding. You clone the repository and open Claude Code inside it. The skills live in `.claude/skills`, next to more than 40 knowledge-base files and 39 Python scripts. The knowledge base covers B2B advertising: budget split by funnel stage, campaign structures, bidding, creative angles, CTR, CPC and CPL benchmarks and an account audit checklist. The scripts call the ad platform APIs. For LinkedIn and Meta they show an account overview, campaigns and daily stats, and for LinkedIn also audience demographics. For Google Ads they build a search terms and keyword report with Quality Score. The same scripts create and change campaigns: objectives, bids, budgets, status, ad groups, responsive search ads and audience lists. Keys live in `.env`, and the `.env.example` template has fields for all three platforms. The onboarding skill walks through getting the keys and testing the connection in about five minutes. It runs in Claude Code on your own machine, in the terminal or in the desktop app in Local mode.
Who it is for. B2B marketers and performance specialists, agencies with several client accounts and founders who run paid acquisition themselves.
Good fit when
- A LinkedIn Ads account needs a check against the 35-item audit checklist, and Claude Code pulls the data through the API
- A budget of 50,000 dollars a month has to be split across funnel stages and channels
- Google Ads gets a weekly cleanup: the search terms report shows which words waste spend
- Meta creatives wear out and you need to know when to rotate: the knowledge base describes fatigue signals and cadence
- The full copy of active Meta ads has to be exported for review
Not a fit when
- You work in the claude.ai chat or the Claude Desktop chat: the scripts do not run there
- Ads run in Yandex Direct or VK Ads: the kit has no skills for those platforms
- The product targets retail buyers: the method is built for B2B SaaS
- You have no API access, for example a Google Ads developer token: without keys only the knowledge base works
Example request
Audit my LinkedIn Ads account: pull the last 30 days of campaigns, check audiences and bids against the checklist and name three campaigns worth stopping.Limitations
- The skills target Claude Code on a local machine; the scripts do not run in the claude.ai and Claude Desktop chats.
- Each platform needs its own access: LinkedIn keys and token, a Meta token with the account ID, a Google Ads developer token and OAuth keys.
- The scripts create campaigns and change bids and budgets in a live account, and the spend comes from your account. The user is responsible for the spend and platform compliance.
- The license is MIT with the Commons Clause: you can run your own and client accounts but cannot resell the skills as a product.
How to disable. Delete the `ads-skills` folder or stop opening Claude Code in that directory: the skills sit in the project and work only there. Remove the keys from `.env` and revoke the app access in the LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads settings.
FAQ
How do I install Ads Skills in Claude Code?
Clone the repository with `git clone https://github.com/ivangfalco/ads-skills.git`, enter the folder and run `claude`. The `/onboarding` command walks through the keys and a connection test in five minutes.
Does the kit work in Claude Desktop or on claude.ai?
No. It needs Claude Code on your own computer, in the terminal or in the desktop app in Local mode. The Claude chat cannot run scripts on the user's machine.
Which platforms does it cover?
LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and Google Ads. Yandex Direct and VK Ads are not in the kit.
Which keys are needed?
For LinkedIn: app keys, an access token and the account ID. For Meta: an access token, the ad account ID and the app ID. For Google Ads: a developer token, OAuth keys, a refresh token and the customer ID. All values go into `.env`, and the template is `.env.example`.
What does the knowledge base contain?
More than 40 files: advertising foundations with the five-stage Demand Engine model in place of the usual TOFU, MOFU and BOFU, separate sections for LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads, audit and launch checklists and CTR, CPC and CPL benchmarks.

README in short
The repository page introduces the author, Ivan Falco, and his 5-Stage Demand Engine method built on B2B accounts with spend above 200,000 dollars a month. It then lists the skills and files, a three-step quick start, the folder layout and the requirements: Claude Code, Python 3.10 and platform keys.
