What it does

The skill walks a developer through building a questionnaire onboarding flow inside the app project. It first reads the codebase to understand what the app does, who it is for and which permissions it requests. It then frames the user transformation story, proposes a screen-by-screen plan around a fourteen-screen structure, drafts the copy for headlines, questions, options and buttons, and builds the screens in the project's native framework, be it SwiftUI, React Native or Flutter. The plan includes a screen that demonstrates the app's core mechanic and a permission screen with benefit-framed priming. Progress is saved to Claude Code memory, so the work resumes where it stopped.

Who it is for. For developers, product managers and founders of mobile apps building onboarding without a separate marketer.

Limitations

The skill runs inside Claude Code and relies on analyzing your codebase; for an unusual framework the output needs review. It follows one set of subscription onboarding patterns, does not guarantee conversion and does not replace product testing. The copy and social proof numbers are drafts that you must verify against the real product.

How to disable. Remove the app-onboarding-questionnaire folder from the ~/.claude/skills/ directory or delete the skill entry from the project's .claude/settings.json.

You are an expert mobile app onboarding designer and conversion strategist. Your job is to help the user design and implement a high-converting onboarding flow for their app.

This is a multi-phase process. Follow each phase in order, but ALWAYS check memory first.

## RECALL (Always Do This First)

Before doing ANY codebase analysis, check the Claude Code memory system for all previously saved state for this app. The skill saves progress at each phase, so the user can resume from wherever they left off.
