ClaudeDBGate
A 1C extension with a read-only HTTP service plus a Claude Code skill that pulls data from a live infobase into JSON using 1C query language
Low risk
We rate an entry low when it mostly gives the agent instructions and reference material.
Why this level
- The HTTP service only implements data reads
- Access is token-protected; the default value should be changed on your own base
Install
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add skills/claudedbgateDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.
Other ways to install
Run in a terminal in the project folder
npx skills add avl8659/claude-1c-dbgate --skill 1c-query -a claude-code -yThe skills tool installs the current version from the repository. Add the -g flag to use the skill in every project.

Load the ClaudeDBGate/dbgate extension into a test infobase via Configurator, copy ~/.claude/skills/1c-query from the repo into your profile, fill config.json with your baseUrl and token, then use the 1c-query skill for read queries.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
The project has two parts. The LLM_DB_GATE 1C configuration extension adds an HTTP service with /ping and /query methods: a query written in 1C's built-in query language runs on the server and comes back as JSON. The extension is universal and attaches to any standard configuration without touching its objects. The second part, the 1c-query skill for Claude Code, lives in ~/.claude/skills and calls the service through a PowerShell helper using a token. Access is strictly read-only: balances, documents, catalogs and registers, with no changes to the database.
Who it is for. For 1C developers who want to give Claude Code safe read access to real live database data while developing or debugging.
Good fit when
- You need to check a hypothesis against real data without dumping the database
- Claude Code needs to look at balances, documents or registers while working on a task
- You need a universal read channel that installs into any standard configuration
Not a fit when
- You need to write data to the database: the service is deliberately read-only
- You need access without manually loading the extension through Configurator
Example request
Using 1c-query, find the current stock balance for a Lenovo laptop at the main warehouseLimitations
The extension is loaded manually through Configurator; there is no automated install. The access token defaults to a value baked into both the extension source and the skill config, and should be changed in both places for a production base. The README does not cover HTTP transport, TLS or network restrictions, so those need separate setup. The project is new and small, and its stability across platform editions has not been proven.
How to disable. Disable the LLM_DB_GATE extension in the infobase Configurator and delete the ~/.claude/skills/1c-query folder.
Security check
- The HTTP service only implements data reads
- Access is token-protected; the default value should be changed on your own base
README in short
The Russian README describes the project's two parts: the LLM_DB_GATE extension with a /ping and /query HTTP service, and the 1c-query skill for Claude Code. It gives a step-by-step order for loading the extension through Configurator, including a manual fallback if file import fails, and explains where the access token is stored.
FAQ
Can the skill change data in the database?
No, the HTTP service only reads through a 1C query, and the extension has no write methods.
Which configuration can the extension be installed into?
Any: the extension only uses its own objects with a DB_GATE_ prefix and 8.3.15 compatibility mode, without touching standard objects.
