What it does
The skill takes a source document and a request for a deck, splits the content across logical pages and assembles the deck from ready-made layouts of its built-in themes. The result is an HTML presentation that opens offline and is edited in the browser: each page has its own console with sliders and toggles for the layout, module count, palette and emphasis, text is edited in place, and images or video drop into slots. One command exports the deck to an offline HTML bundle, to PDF or to a genuine PPTX where text stays editable. The set has twelve themes, around a thousand layouts and stock analysis frameworks: SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, PEST, the Business Model Canvas, plus charts such as radar, waterfall and Sankey. Generation, editing and export all run locally, and content is not uploaded.
Who it is for. Product and project managers, marketers and founders who need a tidy business deck built from existing text.
Good fit when

The generator needs Node.js 20 or newer with npm, and PPTX and PDF export requires a locally installed Chrome, Chromium or Edge. Styling customization is intentionally bounded by the themes, with no free color picking: the author values stable output over open-ended tuning. The author estimates a ten-page deck at about a hundred thousand tokens. Only npm dependency installation on first generation and a silent version check touch the network; content is not uploaded. The license is AGPL-3.0, which affects how derivatives may be distributed.
How to disable. Remove the dashi-ppt skill folder from your skills directory, for example ~/.claude/skills/. If installed as a plugin, remove it via /plugin.

FAQ
Is the PPTX export really editable?
Yes, the PPTX is rebuilt node by node and text stays editable. A PPTX cannot carry every HTML capability, but editability is preserved as much as possible.
Does content go to the network?
No, generation, editing and export run locally. Only npm dependency installation and a version-number check touch the network.
