What it does

The skill turns an article, copy, screenshots, photos or video into ready sets of social cards. It works in two visual systems: a restrained editorial one in the spirit of print magazines, and a grid-first Swiss style with a single accent color and high type contrast. There are three canvas sizes, a set of 28 layouts and 10 color presets, plus motion cards where a short video takes the place of a still frame. Images are user-supplied first, otherwise the skill sources them through a chain of photo libraries and stores them locally with a sources file. Layout lives in a single HTML file, rendering to PNG runs on Playwright, and a built-in validator checks overflow, text caps and layout collisions.

Who it is for. For content creators, social media managers and designers who prepare social cards and article covers.

Limitations

The skill is tuned for Xiaohongshu and WeChat, so formats and captions target those platforms. Rendering needs Node.js and Playwright, and motion cards need the user's own source video. The author honestly puts some categories out of scope, such as photography showcase posts and full-body outfit shots. It is AGPL-3.0 licensed; commercial use needs a separate license described in the commercial licensing file.

How to disable. Remove the guizang-social-card-skill folder from the agent's skills directory, for example ~/.claude/skills/.

Create polished social card packages for Xiaohongshu/Rednote, WeChat Official Account, article covers, and platform thumbnails.

This skill is self-contained. It borrows visual principles from the Guizang PPT style system, but it must not edit the original PPT skill, its templates, or its references.

Generated work must live in a task folder, not in the skill root.

## What To Produce

Use this skill for:

- Social card / carousel image sets: cover plus content pages, especially Xiaohongshu/Rednote 3:4.
- Short Live Photo motion cards when the user asks for Live Photo and supplies video evidence or screen recordings.
