What it does
The pack joins a lead skill, hehe-industry-researcher, with 13 specialist skills. The lead skill starts with questions: what the research is for, where the boundaries of the industry and company lie, which periods and sources to use. Then it creates a project folder, collects and vets materials, picks methods and merges the result into a final Markdown report with a copy for reading in HTML. The specialist skills can also be called on their own, from market sizing and PEST to financial analysis and valuation. Calculation skills output Excel files with formulas for market size, financials and valuation. The competition skill draws a two-axis positioning map and an opportunity matrix as SVG and PNG, and the render_chain.py script builds the value chain. Reports keep confirmed facts apart from management figures and scenario calculations, and source conflicts go to a separate section.
Who it is for. For analysts, consultants and investors who prepare industry reviews and company research in Chinese from public information.
Good fit when
- You need a full industry review in Chinese: from market size to competitors and the main industry threats
- You need to value a company that has only two rough financial tables: the pack separates facts, management figures and scenario calculations
- You need one narrow task, for example market sizing with parameters and an Excel model, without a full project
- You need commercial analysis before a deal: company profile, governance and valuation
Not a fit when
- You need interviews, surveys or analysis of primary data: the pack does not design them and works from public information
- You need personal advice on buying securities, position size or returns: the pack gives no such recommendations
- One fact or one page is enough: running the pack for that is excessive
- You need slide design or polished spreadsheets: PPT and Excel styling are outside the pack tasks

The skills and their reference materials are written in Chinese, and the reports are built for Chinese. The full process works only when all 14 folders from skills/ are copied. Building the HTML version requires Python with the Markdown and beautifulsoup4 packages. The pack uses your agent's search and tools and adds none of its own, so data quality depends on them. Prices, dynamic data and company status must be rechecked at the time of use. Social media data suits only opinion and signal assessment, and market share is not computed from it. The optional helpers sou-cha-ling, tanzi and baojie live in separate repositories.
How to disable. Delete the copied hehe-* folders from the agent's skills directory, for example ~/.claude/skills/, and start a new session. Research folders and reports you created stay where you saved them.
FAQ
How do I install the Hehe pack in Claude Code?
Clone the repository and copy every folder from skills/ into ~/.claude/skills/. For Codex the directory is ~/.codex/skills/. After copying, open a new session and call /hehe-industry-researcher.
Can I install just one skill?
Yes, copy the folder you need, for example hehe-market-sizing. Specialist skills work independently of the lead one, though you will not get the full research process.
What does a full research run produce?
A project folder with the brief, materials and specialist reports, a final Markdown report, its HTML copy and a delivery checklist.
How do I build the HTML version of a report by hand?
Install the Markdown and beautifulsoup4 packages, enter the lead skill directory and run `python scripts/build-html-report.py report.md report.html`. The --report-type, --scope, --data-cutoff and --version flags set the report type, scope, data cutoff and version.
Does the pack give investment recommendations?
The investment logic skill checks conditions and scenarios, but it issues no personal recommendations on buying securities, position size or returns.
