What it does
Interface Design is a skill for Claude Code that treats interface design as an engineering discipline: craft, a memory of decisions and consistency between screens. It suits interfaces of products, dashboards and apps and per the README is not meant for marketing sites. Installation: `npx skills add https://github.com/dammyjay93/interface-design --skill interface-design`, the `-g` flag installs for the user, with a variant for Codex. Version 2026.6.12 from 12.06.2026, MIT license.
Who it is for. For developers and designers of products who need consistent interfaces of dashboards and apps without variation between screens.
Good fit when
- You need a single style of dashboards, admin panels and apps
- You need a memory of design decisions between agent sessions
- You need design skills for Claude Code and Codex
Not a fit when
- You need a marketing site or landing page: the skill is not meant for it
- You need ready mockups: the skill sets rules
Example request
Make an admin panel with an orders table and filters in a single style and record the design decisions made in memoryLimitations
The skill is made for interfaces of products, dashboards and apps and does not suit marketing sites. It sets rules and a memory of decisions and the result has to be viewed by eye. Access is minimal: text and decision files.
How to disable. Remove the skill from the agent's folder or the plugin through the plugin manager.
