Why this level
- Scripts read your spreadsheets and PDFs and write reports to disk, and study data can include personal details of participants
- Texts and tables go to the agent's model, which may run in the cloud

What it does
护研搭子 ("Research buddy") splits the path of a nursing study into 18 standalone skills. Each covers its own stretch: literature search with a protocol and record deduplication, citation checks, paper reading, topic and design choice, a data dictionary, a statistics plan with scripts, writing cross-sectional and review papers, figures and mechanism diagrams, slides, a mock peer review and a reply to reviewers. The skills give the agent a sequence of steps, reference files and templates, while the connected agent does the writing and computation. For practice there are fully synthetic examples: a cohort study, a two-arm parallel RCT and a step-by-step R statistics demo. Version 0.4.0 added randomization, analysis sets and a report for RCTs. Work uses only the materials you name in the task, and the agent does not scan neighboring project folders. Prompts and descriptions are in Chinese; manuscripts keep an academic English style with key logic explained in Chinese.
Who it is for. Nurse researchers, master's students and nursing lecturers who write research papers with an AI agent.
Good fit when
- You are still shaping a nursing question and want a design, theory and measures instead of generic advice
- Literature comes from several databases and the records need deduplication and a check against real sources
- Survey data sits in a spreadsheet, and the data dictionary, scale coding and R analysis are not ready yet
- A cross-sectional manuscript has to agree with its tables and figures
- Before journal submission you want a mock peer review followed by a structured reply to reviewers
Not a fit when
- You need a clinical recommendation or a patient decision: the skills cover research work only
- You expect the agent to collect and analyze real participant data on its own: responsibility for conclusions stays with the authors and statisticians
- You need text in a language other than Chinese or English, or a field outside nursing research
- You want a ready analysis model for real data: the R example is a teaching demo and does not pick methods for you

The author calls the set working methods rather than a clinically validated system, and states that structural checks do not prove scientific accuracy. Behavior was evaluated by another AI with no nursing experts involved. Scripts need Python 3.10 or newer, PDF extraction needs the packages in `requirements.txt`, and the teaching example uses a standard R installation. Codex is the named environment and Claude Code is not mentioned in the README: the skills are `SKILL.md` files opened by path.
How to disable. Delete the `nursing-*` folders you copied from the agent's skills directory, along with the cloned repository. Reports and project summaries live in your own working folders and are removed separately.
FAQ
How do I install the set?
Download the archive from the latest release and check its SHA-256, or run `git clone`. Then copy the folders you need from `skills/` whole into the agent's skills directory: each one carries its own references and works on its own.
Which skill do I start with?
Choose by task: literature search and checks, design, data, statistics, writing, figures or review. Each row of the README table names the skill's deliverable, and `docs/workflow-handoff.md` explains how results pass from one skill to the next.
What are the synthetic examples?
They are invented materials with no real participants, hospitals or publications. You can test a skill on them without uploading real study data.
Does the set replace a statistician?
No. The statistics skill writes a plan, scripts and a results ledger, while method choice and interpretation stay with the authors and a statistician. The author states plainly that this is not a clinically validated system.
Where do my materials go?
The scripts run locally, but the agent's model may be in the cloud. Do not pass participant data or unpublished results to external models without permission. Details are in `docs/privacy-and-publication.md`.

README in short
The Chinese README lists version 0.4.0, a table of 18 skills with deliverables and technical names, then ways to start with synthetic materials. Installation from a release archive or by copying folders follows, with a warning about real data and a list of validation commands. A boundaries section says structural checks and another AI's evaluation do not replace expert review.
