What it does
Oh-my-mermaid builds clear architecture diagrams in the Mermaid format from a codebase and opens them for viewing. It works as a Claude Code skill: after installing the CLI you run the `/omm-scan` command in the agent and view the result through `omm view`. Installation: `npm install -g oh-my-mermaid && omm setup`. The README is in English, Turkish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Version 0.2.0 from 25.03.2026, MIT license.
Who it is for. For developers who need to quickly understand someone else's or AI-generated code: an architecture diagram instead of reading all the files.
Good fit when
- You need to understand an unfamiliar codebase
- You need architecture documentation in Mermaid
- The code was written by AI and its structure has to be seen
Not a fit when
- You need a diagram verified by hand: AI builds it from the code
- The repository cannot be shown to an agent
Example request
/omm-scanLimitations
The diagrams are built by AI from your code, so check them against the real structure. The skill reads the repository, so access is extended: if the code is private, think whether it may be given to an agent.
How to disable. Remove the skill from the agent's folder or the plugin through the plugin manager.
