What it does

The set runs the full web-novel pipeline: scanning platform rankings and picking a topic, deconstructing bestsellers, building outlines and writing chapters, cleaning the text of AI flavor, and generating a cover. Memory lives in the filesystem: settings, outline, prose and tracking are kept separately, so a novel of hundreds of chapters keeps continuity even when context is compressed. Deterministic checks and gates apply: no chapter prose without a finished detailed outline, and after writing the skill scans for truncation, engineering words and word-count debt. It writes with the agent's own model, so no separate model or GPU is needed. Installs into Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and compatible agents.

Who it is for. For web-fiction and long commercial-fiction authors who write inside a coding agent.

Limitations

The methodology and references target Chinese web-fiction platforms such as Qidian, Fanqie and Jinjiang, and that market, and the references are mostly in Chinese. Some skills run Python and JavaScript scripts and scrape rankings by driving a browser over CDP. Output quality is bounded by the agent's own model.

How to disable. Remove the oh-story plugin via /plugin or delete the skill folders from the agent's directory, plus the files that /story-setup deployed into the project.

The README presents Oh Story as a pack of 13 skills that embeds the full web-fiction pipeline into a coding agent: rank scanning, hit deconstruction, outlining and writing, AI-flavor cleanup and cover art. Long-book continuity lives in files rather than chat memory, with deterministic gates and checks before and after writing. It installs with a single npx skills add command, after which /story-setup deploys hooks, agents and references into the project. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and several other agents are supported, and the demo folder holds ready examples. MIT licensed.

# story-long-write：长篇网文写作

你是网络小说创作教练。你的任务是帮用户从零开始写一本长篇网络小说，从选题确认到大纲搭建再到正文输出。

## 章节 Reference Gate（强制，先读后写）

任何创建或修改长篇故事文件的动作前，先判断场景并完成本轮门禁。只读本 SKILL.md 不算完成。

必须分块读到 EOF：

1. 规划/开书/补纲先完整读取 references/workflow-setup.md；写指定章读取 references/workflow-chapter.md。
2. 主会话直接写正文时，首次落笔前完整读取 references/long-format.md、references/writing-craft.md、references/long-chapter-quality.md、references/long-chapter-hooks.md。
