What it does
The skill runs an article topic through ten stages: collecting a keyword core via Wordstat MCP with frequency, LSI and seasonality, analyzing the top 5 competitors in search results for structure and topic coverage, gathering verified facts only from primary sources, planning images, drafting an H1-H3 structure, generating an AI cover and illustrations via Kie.ai (Nano Banana model) and service screenshots via Playwright, writing an article of at least 2500 words with an image every 300-400 words, on-page optimization with Schema.org, a final quality check across eight checklist categories, a comparison against competitors, and publishing through three paths: WordPress API feeding into Dzen via RSS, a ready HTML file for copy-paste, or the Prisma Blog API in MDX format. It has a separate onboarding mode for adding a new product or platform by command.

The public version ships with empty platform and product routing tables; you connect your own projects through onboarding or by hand. It needs Node.js 18+ for Playwright, a paid Kie.ai API key for images, an SSH-accessible server with a web server for storing pictures or an alternative like S3, and optionally a Wordstat MCP for keyword data. Publishing to WordPress needs an Application Password per platform. The author explicitly warns against reading unvalidated images with the Read tool, since it can crash the conversation with an API error.
How to disable. Delete the seo-article-writer folder from ~/.claude/skills/.
