What it does

This is the broadest skill in the series: it covers account audit and diagnosis, Unified Performance Campaigns, search and the ad network, Campaign Wizard, product campaigns, targeting, creatives, bids, budgets, strategies, experiments, moderation, Yandex Metrica goals, offline and ecommerce conversions, attribution, Direct Commander and API v5 integrations. Before acting it fixes the advertiser, date range, timezone, VAT treatment, currency, the source of truth for the business outcome, and whether access runs through the browser, Commander, an export or the API. It works read-only until the user explicitly authorizes a specific change: campaign creation, a budget or bid change, a strategy or goal change, archive or delete actions, or publishing creatives. The check_official_docs.py script refreshes three machine-readable Yandex documentation indexes; the 2026-09-01 snapshot covers 433 Direct Help articles and 266 API v5 entries.

Who it is for. For people who need one broad skill covering all of Yandex Direct: from account audits to preparing API v5 integrations with limits and rollback.

Good fit when

  • You need a read-only audit of the whole account's structure and performance
  • You need to separate dashboard metrics, Metrica and confirmed-payment metrics from each other
  • You need to design an API v5 or Direct Commander workflow with limits and rollback

  • You need a narrow tool for just reports or just Library objects: the companion skills already cover that
  • You need a platform other than Yandex Direct: the skill is limited to it

Limitations

The skill's references are a navigation layer, not a frozen copy of Yandex's documentation, and need refreshing with check_official_docs.py since facts drift over time. The package contains no advertiser data or credentials. Install is documented for Codex and separately for Claude Code through the same skills.sh registry.
