What it does

The skill checks and fixes what affects indexing and site quality in Yandex: canonical and og:url on every page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, a root favicon.ico, and Article or WebSite structured data. Before auditing it re-reads the current Yandex Webmaster support pages instead of relying on memory from a previous run, since the rules change without notice. If yandex-webmaster and yandex-metrika MCP servers are connected, it uses their tools for diagnostics and stats instead of manual browser navigation. Ready code snippets are given for FastAPI with Jinja2 and for a React or Vite SPA, adaptable to any stack. The skill never touches visual design or rewrites content for SEO's sake.

Limitations

The project is small: a README, SKILL.md and two reference files, with no stars or track record. The author tested it on two of their own sites (FastAPI and a React SPA); behavior on other stacks is not guaranteed. Live Webmaster diagnostics only work if the site is verified there and an MCP server is connected, otherwise some checks are done manually via curl or WebFetch.

How to disable. Remove the skill folder from .claude/skills in the project or from the global ~/.claude/skills.
