Yandex Tracker skill on the official Python client
Yandex Tracker Skill
A skill for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI on top of the official yandex_tracker_client package: search, issues, statuses, sprints, bulk edits
Medium risk
We rate an entry medium when the tool runs code, makes network calls or reads project files. Check what exactly it does before installing.
Why this level
- Can create, edit and bulk-change issues when the token has tracker:write scope
- Bulk operations touch many issues and queues in the organization at once

In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add skills/yandex-tracker-skillDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.

Run npx skills add Kandler3/yandex-tracker-skill, specify the agent with --agent if needed, install python -m pip install yandex_tracker_client, get an OAuth token per Yandex Tracker's official instructions with tracker:read and tracker:write scopes, and give it to the agent along with the organization id.
Other ways from the author
npx skills add Kandler3/yandex-tracker-skillThe installer detects supported agents and lets you pick where to install the skill.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
The skill gives an agent instructions for working with Yandex Tracker through the official yandex_tracker_client Python package rather than raw HTTP requests. It covers searching issues with the Tracker query language including grouping and summaries, reading, creating and editing issues, changing statuses, working with custom fields, comments, attachments and issue links, time tracking, queues, users, boards and sprints, and bulk updates or queue transfers within a scope the user agrees to. Reference material is split by topic: issue lifecycle, search and reporting, bulk operations, worklogs and planning, collaboration, and setup and authentication.
Who it is for. For project managers and developers who run their tasks in Yandex Tracker and want to work with it through plain-language agent requests.
Good fit when
- You want natural-language summaries and grouping of issues by queue and assignee
- You need to work with sprints, boards and worklogs, not just the issues themselves
- You want a client built on the official yandex_tracker_client package rather than a homemade API wrapper
Not a fit when
- Your agent cannot run Python 3: the skill requires the yandex_tracker_client package installed
- You want a one-click, terminal-free install: this one goes through a CLI or ClawHub
Example request
Find open issues in the DEV queue, group them by assignee and prepare a short summaryLimitations
You need Python 3 installed and the yandex_tracker_client package in the agent's environment if it does not install dependencies automatically. You need a Yandex OAuth token with tracker:read and tracker:write scopes and a Yandex 360 or Yandex Cloud organization id. Bulk operations run only within a scope the user explicitly agrees to, but getting that scope right is the user's own responsibility.
How to disable. Remove the skill with npx skills remove Kandler3/yandex-tracker-skill, or delete it manually from the agent's skills directory.
Security check
- Can create, edit and bulk-change issues when the token has tracker:write scope
- Bulk operations touch many issues and queues in the organization at once
README in short
The Russian and English README presents the skill as a way to connect Yandex Tracker to AI agents through the official Python client, with manifests for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI and a ClawHub package for OpenClaw. It covers requirements (Python 3, an OAuth token, an organization id), installation via the Vercel Agent Skills CLI with npx skills add, getting a token per Yandex's official instructions with tracker:read and tracker:write scope choices, and a capability list: search, issues, custom fields, time, boards, sprints, bulk operations.
FAQ
What does the skill use to reach the API?
The official yandex_tracker_client Python package, not custom-built HTTP requests.
Can the token's permissions be limited?
Yes, when creating the OAuth app you can grant just tracker:read for reading, or add tracker:write for changes.
