What it does
Awesome Agent Orchestrators by Andrew Lee lists tools that launch and coordinate several coding agents at once. The list is useful when you have to choose an orchestrator and compare approaches: how each launches agents, how it isolates their working directories and which agents it works with. There are no review-level descriptions here, only a catalog. CC0-1.0 license.
Who it is for. For developers who already run several agents by hand in different terminals and look for a way to automate it.
Good fit when
- You need to choose an orchestrator for your set of agents
- You need to compare approaches to isolating working directories
- You need a catalog to start your own choice from
Not a fit when
- You need a ready comparison table: the list has none
- One agent and one task: an orchestrator is not needed
Example request
Take three orchestrators from the catalog and compare how each isolates working directories of parallel agentsLimitations
Orchestrators launch many agents at once with shell and file access and each is built its own way. Launch the chosen project first in a container or a separate branch and only then give it a working repository.
How to disable. Nothing is installed so there is nothing to remove. An orchestrator you choose and launch is removed by the instructions of its repository.
FAQ
How is the catalog useful?
It gathers orchestrators in one place so that you can compare approaches to launching and isolating agents.
Can a ready tool be chosen from it?
Only as a first cut: for each project the decision is made after reading its repository.
What license is it?
CC0-1.0.
