What it does
SkillHub from iFlytek is a service that a company deploys on its own as an agent skill registry: publishing, search, versions, tags, access tokens and MinIO storage. To work with the registry there is the CLI `@astron-team/skillhub` (`npm install -g @astron-team/skillhub`). Written in Java, version 0.2.21 from 19.09.2026, Apache-2.0 license. It is infrastructure for storing skills. The server installs with a `runtime.sh` script from an external address, so read it before running.
Who it is for. For companies and platform teams that need their own skill registry with versions and access control.
Good fit when
- You need a company's internal skill registry
- You need versions, tags and access tokens for skills
- You need a CLI to publish skills to your own registry
Not a fit when
- You need one skill: this is infrastructure
- You cannot run install scripts from external addresses
Example request
Publish a skill to the corporate registry, set a tag and show how another developer installs itLimitations
The server installs with a runtime.sh script from an external address and installs containers and storage on the server. Read the script and limit access by tokens. Access is extended: the service stores and serves skills that agents then execute.
How to disable. Stop the service and delete its storage, and remove the CLI with npm uninstall -g @astron-team/skillhub.
