What it does
The server solves a different problem than official Avito for Business API clients: it targets an ordinary personal account that the user signs into themselves in a dedicated Chrome profile, and the server attaches to that already authenticated session over the Chrome DevTools Protocol. No Avito developer client ID or secret is needed, and the server never asks for a password, an SMS code, cookies or authorization headers. Read tools include a connection check, your profile, Avito search, a listing card, your own listings, favorites, chat list and message history. Sending a message is a two-step flow: first a preview and a one-time confirmation token, then a second call with the same chat id, text and token sends the message exactly once with no automatic retries.
Who it is for. For ordinary Avito users without business status or Developer API access who want to give an agent access to their personal account.
Good fit when
- You have no access to the Avito Developer API but need to work with your own personal account
- You need to read your listings, favorites and messages, and occasionally send a message with explicit confirmation
- Working through a dedicated Chrome profile rather than headless scraping works for you
Not a fit when
- You need business features like autoload, Avito Delivery or ads: the server does not do this
- You need to bypass CAPTCHA, account restrictions or bot protection: the project explicitly says it is not for that

It needs Python 3.11 or newer and a dedicated Chrome or compatible Chromium browser profile with CDP support, where the user manually signs in to Avito themselves. The project is unofficial and not affiliated with Avito, and the README says so directly. It covers only personal features: search, your listings, favorites, chats and sending one message at a time.
How to disable. Remove the avito-personal-mcp server from your MCP client config and close the dedicated Chrome profile used for authorization.
