What it does
The single-file avito_mcp.py server with 11 tools wraps the Avito Messenger and Items API: chats, messages, sending, item listing, profile, webhook subscribe and unsubscribe, and blacklisting a user. It supports two accounts at once, with requests to both merged and tagged by account. user_id does not need manual lookup: an auto value is resolved at startup via the self-check API. The OAuth2 token refreshes automatically with a 24-hour lifetime. For corporate proxies with unstable certificates there is an AVITO_SSL_VERIFY=false flag that disables SSL verification.
Who it is for. For sellers with one or two Avito accounts who need a simple server for messenger and items with no infrastructure to deploy.
Good fit when
- You need Avito chats and items in Claude Desktop with no separate backend
- You work from a corporate network with unstable SSL certificates
- You run two Avito accounts and want their messages merged with an account tag
Not a fit when
- You need to send messages without a paid Avito Pro subscription: the README states messenger API access needs that subscription
- You need more than two accounts at once: the server supports exactly two, via the _2 suffix

Sending messages (avito_send_message) requires an Avito Pro subscription with messenger API access; reading chats works without a paid subscription. AVITO_SSL_VERIFY=false disables certificate verification and suits corporate proxies only, not permanent use. Account support is capped at two via the _2 suffix, so more accounts need a different server.
How to disable. Remove the avito-mcp server from claude_desktop_config.json.

Do I need a paid subscription?
Not for reading chats, but sending messages via avito_send_message needs an Avito Pro subscription with messenger API access.
