DataNewton MCP
DataNewton's cloud MCP server: an agent checks Russian companies and sole proprietors by INN and reads finances, courts, links and risks
Broad access
Why this level
- The agent's requests, including INNs and names of the companies checked, go to the DataNewton server, and replies with data on sole proprietors, managers and founders reach your agent's model and its provider
- The connection is paid: the plan token is spent on requests, and an agent left unchecked can use up the limit fast, especially when listing companies

What it does
DataNewton is a Russian data service on legal entities and sole proprietors. Its MCP server runs in the cloud at https://datanewton.ru/mcp, so nothing is installed on your computer. An agent connects over Streamable HTTP and sends a token in the Authorization header. You ask in plain language, for example: "Find the company by INN and show its risks". The server answers with registration data, financial figures, linked organizations, court cases, bankruptcy information and risk indicators. The data comes from state registers: the unified registers of legal entities and sole proprietors, tax-service financial statements, the arbitration case file, the bailiff service enforcement database and others. According to the service, the base covers 32 million companies and sole proprietors, and scoring uses 70+ criteria. The server gives the agent five tools. The main one, dn_ask, takes a whole question, an INN or OGRN, and structured filters for picking a segment of companies. dn_clarify settles the choice when several companies match. dn_get_section returns a full section of a company card, dn_get_event opens a single case or contract, and dn_capabilities shows the remaining tokens.
Who it is for. For lawyers, procurement staff, security teams, financial analysts and sales managers who vet counterparties and pick companies in Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client. A DataNewton MCP plan is required.
Good fit when
- Before signing a contract you want to vet a counterparty by INN: court cases, bankruptcy, debts and risk indicators in one answer
- You need a company's financial figures over several years analyzed right in the agent chat
- You need organizations linked to a company through founders and managers
- A sales team wants a list of companies by filters such as industry and region, with cards for a first contact
- You want to check tender participants and suppliers against the government contract and unreliable supplier registers
Not a fit when
- You have no DataNewton MCP plan or token: the site offers no self-service purchase, and support grants access
- You need data on companies outside Russia: the service covers Russian legal entities and sole proprietors
- You need open source or a self-hosted run. The GitHub repository holds only a description and a connection example, and the server runs on the developer's side
- You need an answer with no checking: registers update at different intervals, so a legally significant decision should be verified against the primary source
Example request
Vet the counterparty by the INN from this contract: show court cases, bankruptcy information and reliability indicators, then briefly assess its finances over recent yearsMCP

Limitations
The connection is paid: you need a DataNewton MCP plan and a personal token. The site has no self-service purchase; support issues the plan and token on a request to info@datanewton.ru. The letter states what the MCP is for and the datanewton.ru account. The MCP page lists no prices.
Requests spend plan tokens. Counting a segment without returning a list is free, and returning a list costs one token per card. dn_capabilities shows the balance. For online checks, such as account blocks, the server waits up to 25 seconds, and if a check is not ready the reply comes with the in_progress status and the request is repeated in a minute or two.
The GitHub repository DatanewtonMCP/datanewton-mcp holds a README with a description and a connection example. It contains no service source code and states no license. Data availability depends on the service and the connected plan.
The service returns information on sole proprietors and company managers. Use it within the personal data law and for tasks you have grounds for, such as vetting a counterparty.
How to disable. Remove the server from the agent's settings: in Claude Code with claude mcp remove datanewton-mcp, in other clients delete the datanewton-mcp section from the MCP configuration file. To close access completely, write to DataNewton support at info@datanewton.ru and ask to disable the token.
FAQ
How do I connect DataNewton MCP to Claude Code or Cursor?
Get a plan and a token through support, then add a server at https://datanewton.ru/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer and your token. In Claude Code the claude mcp add --transport http command does it, in Cursor you put the server under mcpServers. After a restart ask the agent to find a company by INN.
How do I get a DataNewton MCP token and plan?
Through support: write to info@datanewton.ru and state what the MCP is for and the email of your datanewton.ru account. The site has no self-service purchase. The MCP page does not publish a plan price.
What company data does DataNewton MCP return?
Registration data, finances, links between organizations, court cases, bankruptcy, taxes, vacancies, government contracts, leasing, inspections and risk indicators. Sources are listed at datanewton.ru/sources: tax service, antimonopoly service and bailiff registers, the arbitration case file and others.
Which tools does the server have?
Five: dn_ask for questions and filters, dn_clarify to settle a choice when several companies match, dn_get_section for a full card section, dn_get_event for a single case or contract, and dn_capabilities for the token balance.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No, the server runs in the DataNewton cloud. The DatanewtonMCP/datanewton-mcp repository holds only a README with a description and a configuration example.
Does the server work without a token?
The server answers the connection and lists its tools, but data requests without a token return an error about a missing key. A plan and a token are required.

README in short
The README, in Russian and English, explains that the service runs in the cloud and nothing is installed on your computer. It gives the server address, the transport type, the token header format and a sample JSON configuration for an MCP client. Four sample requests cover finding a company by INN, finances, court cases with risks and linked organizations.
