What it does

The server gives an agent access to historical data from eight exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, a combined US index, the London, Hong Kong and Istanbul exchanges, and the Moscow Exchange. For each one it can list sectors and companies, pull a company profile, market cap, volume and trade counts, and build treemaps and histograms. MOEX data updates every 15 minutes on weekdays and is available from December 2011 onward. Besides MCP, the server exposes the same functionality through a compact HTTP API with a ready OpenAPI schema for GPT Actions.

Who it is for. For analysts and developers of financial tools who need MOEX historical data alongside other world exchanges in one interface.

You need real-time quotes: MOEX's 15-minute refresh is not suited for trading

Limitations

The repository belongs to the finmap-org organization, which is not the Moscow Exchange itself but an independent project that aggregates its data among others. The remote server is hosted at mcp.finmap.org outside Russia. MOEX data is not real-time and can lag up to 15 minutes on weekdays.

How to disable. Remove the server from your MCP client config.
