What it does
Gives an agent access to the MAX channel and post index through 21 tools. It can search channels and posts, show subscriber growth, views, reactions, content formats and forwards. It also supports webhook monitoring of new posts by channel or keyword and shows plan and credit usage.
Who it is for. Marketers, SMM specialists and analysts who work with channels in MAX.
Good fit when

The MaxStat server and data are closed source; the repo holds manifests, plugins, a skill and configs. Most tools spend plan credits; the free Test Drive gives 1,000 credits every 30 days. Claude's cloud connector does not accept X-API-Token, so Claude Desktop needs the local mcp-remote bridge. Webhooks must be reachable over public HTTPS.
How to disable. Remove the maxstat plugin or the maxstat block from the client MCP config and revoke the token in the MaxStat API dashboard.

FAQ
How much does MCP access cost?
MCP is included in all MaxStat API plans at no extra charge and shares the credit balance with direct API calls.
Why does a Bearer token fail?
The server only accepts the token in the X-API-Token header; Bearer sends a different header.
Can I use MaxStat in cloud Claude?
Not yet: the cloud connector does not accept X-API-Token. Until OAuth 2.1 ships, Claude Desktop uses a local bridge.
