What it does

The server provides 18 yg_-prefixed tools grouped into: authorization and companies, structure (projects, boards, columns, employees), reading tasks and chat, writing tasks and comments. Its distinct feature is authorization: you can pass your own key via yg_setup, or call yg_auth_create_key with a login and password, and the server will fetch or reuse keys for every company on the account at once, storing them locally at ~/.yougile-mcp/config.json while the login and password themselves are never saved. You can then switch the active company with yg_company_use or target one per call with the company parameter. It also stresses that a task's description field is rendered as HTML, not plain text or markdown.

Who it is for. For people working with several YouGile companies at once who want to switch between them without reinstalling the server

Limitations

The project has no stars, a single author. It covers projects, boards, columns, tasks, employees and task chat, but not stickers or webhooks. All companies' keys are stored in one local file; if the machine is compromised, that grants access to every company on the account at once.

How to disable. Remove the server from your MCP client config and delete the ~/.yougile-mcp/config.json file with the stored keys.
