What it does
The whole server is one Node.js file using the built-in fetch, with zero npm dependencies. Fifteen tools start with yougile_map, which gives a board map with the IDs the other calls need, followed by stickers, tasks (list, get, create, update with move/complete/delete via deleted:true), comments, employees and structure (creating and editing projects, boards, columns). Every tool carries MCP annotations, readOnlyHint or destructiveHint, so the client knows what's safe to call without confirmation and what can erase data. Inviting or removing employees, roles, departments, company settings, API keys and webhooks are deliberately left out.
Who it is for. For anyone who wants a minimal-code but honestly risk-annotated YouGile MCP server with no third-party dependencies.
Good fit when
- It matters that the server physically cannot manage company employees, roles and API keys
- You want a server with zero npm dependencies that's easy to read end to end
- You need clear labeling of which calls are safe and which can erase data
Not a fit when
- You need employee invites, roles, departments, webhooks or API-key management: none of that exists here
- You want a full 40+ tool set rather than fifteen focused ones

Needs Node.js 18+ (uses the built-in fetch). The API key grants company-wide access; the README explicitly warns against sharing it in group chats or committing it to git. The key can only be obtained via the --login mode (email and password); YouGile's own interface has no button to issue one.
How to disable. Remove the yougile entry from your MCP client config, and if the key may have leaked, issue a new one via --login and delete the old one through the API.

FAQ
Can I invite an employee through this server?
No, inviting or removing employees, roles and company settings are deliberately not implemented: the key already grants company-wide access, and the README recommends doing that in YouGile's own interface instead.
How do I get an API key if YouGile's UI has no button for it?
Via node yougile-mcp.mjs --login, which asks for an email and password once and issues a key through the API.
