What it does
The server exposes a large toolbox to the agent over MCP for gathering data about the world. It pulls market quotes, SEC filings, macro indicators, disaster feeds, conflict, infrastructure, space weather and news from open sources. On request it assembles briefs that cite their sources and can build geofences with escalation scoring. It runs as a stdio server for Claude Code and Cursor, and needs no paid API keys.

The server only gathers and summarizes data; it does not place trades or move money. Data comes from open sources, and its accuracy and availability depend on the providers, with some feeds unreachable from certain regions. Installation is from source via pip, with separate extras for the dashboard, vector store and PDF reports.
How to disable. Remove the world-intel-mcp entry from your MCP client config and uninstall the package from your Python environment.
