What it does
Claude Night Market is a plugin marketplace for Claude Code where you install only the parts you need. The plugins form four layers. The base comes from sanctum for git, commits and pull request preparation, imbue for TDD and change-scope control, and leyline for shared checks. The utilities cover context savings (conserve), delegation to external models (conjure), agent behavior rules (hookify) and autonomous agents (egregore). The domain layer handles daily work: pensive reviews code and architecture, spec-kit drives development from a spec, attune carries a project from idea to execution, and minister collects GitHub issues and DORA metrics. The meta plugin abstract serves authors of skills and hooks. `/attune:mission` runs the whole cycle, and `/full-review` starts a review. Before a push `/prepare-pr` writes the description and runs checks, and `/fix-pr` addresses comments. `/catchup` restores context from git history.
Who it is for. For developers who are at home in Claude Code and want to assemble their own plugin set for a project and team.
Good fit when
- You need a ready pull request routine: checks before a push and a change description
- You want Claude Code to refuse writing an implementation without a failing test
- You need multi-discipline review of code and architecture in one command
- The project goes from a spec to a plan and task execution
- After a break you need to restore context from git history quickly
Not a fit when
- You are only getting to know Claude Code: learn the built-in features first
- You need a small set of rules: the catalog is large and its plugins pull shared dependencies
- Your team runs Claude Code below 2.1.16 and cannot update it
- Code must not go to external models: delegation through conjure passes them files, though you can turn it off
Example request
Run /full-review on the current branch, then prepare a pull request with /prepare-prLimitations
You need Claude Code 2.1.16 or newer and Python 3.9 or newer for the hooks. Agent team commands need Claude Code 2.1.32 or newer, and security features need 2.1.38 or newer. The Python hooks provide three guards: a test before implementation, blocking of dangerous commands and a check for unneeded additions.
Some parts reach outside your machine. Two hooks use your gh credentials: once per session one reads your star status for the repository (disabled by the CLAUDE_NIGHT_MARKET_NO_STAR_PROMPT=1 variable), and the other posts a discussion with learnings when a session stops and may open issues (disabled by the `auto_post_learnings: false` setting). Delegation through conjure sends prompts and file contents to external model CLIs and is switched off with CONJURE_DELEGATION=off.
How to disable. Disable unneeded plugins with the /plugin command in Claude Code or remove the whole marketplace. CLAUDE_NIGHT_MARKET_NO_STAR_PROMPT=1 turns off the star prompt, auto_post_learnings: false stops the learnings post, and CONJURE_DELEGATION=off stops delegation to models.
FAQ
How do I install Claude Night Market in Claude Code?
Add the marketplace with `/plugin marketplace add athola/claude-night-market`, then install the plugins you need, for example `/plugin install sanctum@claude-night-market`. Run `claude --init` once afterwards.
Do I need to install all the plugins at once?
No, each plugin installs separately and shared dependencies are pulled in automatically. sanctum is enough for git, pensive for review and spec-kit for spec-driven development.
How do I install just the skill files?
Through `npx skills`: it puts the skills into .claude/skills without commands, agents or hooks. Whole plugins can also be installed with `opkg i gh@athola/claude-night-market --plugins sanctum, pensive`.
What does imbue do with tests?
Its hooks block writing an implementation while there is no failing test. This is the first of the marketplace's three guards, next to blockers for dangerous commands such as `rm -rf` and audits of unjustified additions.
What does conjure do?
It hands tasks to external model CLIs, seven of them plus a local runner. Each CLI runs under the credentials you configured for it, and one variable turns all delegation off.

README in short
The author writes for a practitioner who already uses Claude Code, so the text goes straight to an everyday loop on five commands. A separate section lists every network call the plugins make and how to turn each one off.
