What it does
ClaudeKit Skills is a set of thirty-plus skills for Claude Code, packaged as a plugin marketplace installed and updated through /plugin commands. The skills are grouped by theme: frontend on React, Next.js and Tailwind, backend on Node.js, Python and Go, authentication, devops on Cloudflare, Docker and GCP, MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases, docx, pdf, pptx and xlsx document processing, media via FFmpeg and ImageMagick, debugging, problem-solving techniques and MCP work. Each skill is a ready playbook with methodology, rules and integration hints that the agent runs under the user's supervision. You can install only the plugin groups you need rather than the whole set. Some skills call external services and require their own keys, for example the Gemini API, Stripe or cloud platforms.
Who it is for. For developers, devops engineers and interface designers who want a ready set of working playbooks for Claude Code.

The set targets Claude Code and installation through the plugin marketplace, with manual copying into .claude marked as deprecated. Skills are playbooks the agent runs and is responsible for, not standalone programs, so diffs need review. Some domains call external services and need their own keys and paid accounts, for example the Gemini API, Stripe, Cloudflare or GCP, plus installed tools such as FFmpeg, ImageMagick or Puppeteer. The README references the paid ClaudeKit product, which this set does not require.
How to disable. Remove the installed plugins via /plugin, then optionally drop the marketplace with /plugin marketplace remove claudekit-skills. For a manual install, remove the copied folders from .claude.

Do I have to install all skills?
No. The marketplace is split into plugin groups, and you can install only the ones you need, for example web-dev-tools or document-processing.
Are paid keys required?
For some skills yes. Domains like ai-multimodal, payment-integration or devops call external services and need their own keys and accounts.
