What it does
A set of ten skills for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents runs social media content through the full loop, from a vague idea to a verified handoff. The main skill, self-media-content-workflow, takes a request, works out what is needed and calls the right modules. The other nine also work on their own. The modules cover separate stages: a creative brief, account strategy with a calendar, trend tracking and competitor teardowns, copy for X, Xiaohongshu, WeChat, short-video platforms and YouTube, a storyboard and script for a clip, data review with experiments, and saving versions and publishing packages. Two skills put material on the platforms. The first formats an article for WeChat and writes it to drafts without ever running a mass broadcast. The second prepares video packages and, with separate authorization per platform, uploads a clip to YouTube, Douyin, WeChat Channels and Xiaohongshu as private, draft or scheduled. The process has five mandatory human approvals: direction, platforms, title, final copy and publishing. Without permission the skills only prepare packages for manual publishing. Every key number needs a source, and data and feedback are never invented. Before generating images the skill proposes two or three styles from a built-in library of eight presets.
Who it is for. For authors, marketers and account owners who run blogs and social media on several platforms and want an agent that keeps the process and never publishes without consent.

The main README and the skill descriptions are in Chinese, and an English README exists. The set's platforms are X, YouTube, Douyin, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu and WeChat Official Accounts.
WeChat drafts need the WECHAT_APP_ID and WECHAT_APP_SECRET variables from your environment. Video upload goes through the SAU adapter and the dependency-free publish.mjs script, which shows the upload plan per platform in advance. Platform rules change, so check exact values against official documentation. The author takes no responsibility for account restrictions or data loss and guarantees no results.
How to disable. Disable the plugin from the /plugin menu in Claude Code. Remove skills installed with npx skills from the project or user skills directory. Delete the WECHAT_APP_ID and WECHAT_APP_SECRET variables from the environment.
FAQ
How do I install Self Media Skills in Claude Code?
Run two commands inside Claude Code itself: /plugin marketplace add yanhua1010/self-media-content-workflow and /plugin install self-media-suite@self-media. They install all ten skills at once, and Node.js is not needed.
How do I install the set in Codex or Cursor?
Through the official skills CLI: npx skills add yanhua1010/self-media-content-workflow. The -g flag puts the skills into the user directory, --skill picks a single skill and -a names the agent. Node.js is required.
Will the set publish a post on its own?
Only with your permission for each platform. Without it the skills prepare packages for manual publishing, and approving the final copy does not count as that permission. A clip uploaded with a scheduled time goes public at that time, while private uploads and drafts stay hidden until you open them.
Which platforms does the set support?
Copy and packages are built for X, Xiaohongshu, WeChat, short-video platforms and YouTube. Video uploads go to YouTube, Douyin, WeChat Channels and Xiaohongshu, and articles go to WeChat drafts.
Does the agent invent numbers and reviews?
The set's rules forbid inventing data, experience, revenue, user feedback and test results. Every key number needs a source, and facts, opinions, inferences and advice are kept apart.
