Broad access
Why this level
- The agent's files end up holding third-party contact data: work email, phone, LinkedIn profile. Storing it and mailing to it falls under personal-data law
- Rows of your CSV go to the Explorium API for matching and enrichment
- The `vpai` login keeps credentials in `~/.config/vpai`
Install
- Works in
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add plugins/vibe-prospecting-pluginDetects the agents on your machine, shows the access level and pins the version.

What it does
The plugin connects Claude Code, Codex and OpenClaw to Vibe Prospecting data from Explorium. The vendor describes the base as more than 150 million companies and more than 800 million professionals from over 50 sources. The bundle holds the `vibe-prospecting` skill and the `vpai` command-line tool. The agent searches companies by industry, headcount, revenue, tech stack or signals such as hiring and funding, then finds people in them by title and seniority. The second scenario is enrichment. The agent matches rows of your CSV to profiles by email, LinkedIn URL or a name plus company pair, then adds title, work email, domain, headcount and revenue. The result lands in CSV or JSON, ready for a CRM import. On CLI hosts a sample of five entities comes before any full request. The agent shows it to you and fetches the whole set only after you agree. The `/vpai:skip_sample` command turns the sample off for a single request.
Who it is for. Sales reps, sales-operations specialists and growth engineers who build lead lists and prepare tables for a CRM import.
Good fit when
- You need a list of hundreds of companies by industry, size and stack, with a marketing or sales head found in each
- A Salesforce lead CSV has no titles or work emails and should be completed before the import
- Before a cold campaign you want to see account signals: hiring, funding, website changes
- Form submissions arrive with an email address only, and the company and its size would otherwise be looked up by hand
- A table of LinkedIn URLs needs job titles and work addresses
Not a fit when
- There is no Vibe Prospecting account: sign-in goes through it, and data queries do not run without it
- You work in Claude Cowork or Claude Chat: there you connect a connector from the connector store instead of the plugin
- You need details about private people outside a professional role: the base covers titles, companies and work contacts
- A mailing to the found addresses is planned without recipients' consent: the plugin does not check consent, and the mailing law in your jurisdiction may require it
Example request
Find 50 US B2B SaaS companies with 200 to 1,000 employees and a head of marketing in each, and save company, title, LinkedIn URL and domain to CSVLimitations
- Data coverage and query cost depend on the Vibe Prospecting plan with Explorium; the repository states neither prices nor limits.
- Work email and phone do not come back for every person found.
- The five-entity sample exists only on CLI hosts. Claude Chat and Cowork have no plugin and use a connector.
- The Grok Build install is not yet in the xAI marketplace: the submission is under review and the repository holds only a guide.
How to disable. Disable or remove the plugin through the `/plugin` menu in Claude Code. The `vpai` login lives in `~/.config/vpai`; delete that folder to erase the credentials.
FAQ
How do I install Vibe Prospecting in Claude Code?
Run `/plugin install vibe-prospecting@claude-plugins-official` and restart Claude Code if the skill does not appear. Then follow the platform guide inside the skill: sign in with your account and work through `vpai`. For a first request, ask for a few companies matching your own filters.
How does the plugin differ from the Vibe Prospecting MCP server?
The plugin adds a skill, the `vpai` tool, a sample before a full request and CSV file output. The MCP server from the separate repository connects the same data as a connector, with no skill or CLI. For Claude Code, Codex and OpenClaw the authors recommend the plugin; Claude Chat and Cowork take only the connector.
What is the sample and how do I turn it off?
Before a full request the agent takes five entities and shows them to you. The full set is fetched after you confirm. The `/vpai:skip_sample` command with your query text turns the sample off for that one request.
What data goes to the vendor?
Queries go through the Explorium API under the terms of its service and your account. CSV rows the agent matches against profiles are passed to that API. The `vpai` credentials stay local in `~/.config/vpai`.
What comes out at the end?
The agent saves the result as CSV or JSON and passes the file path (`csv_path`) to the next step. You may edit the file between steps, but the entity ID column, for example `business_id`, must stay.
