What it does
Work IQ gathers MCP servers, skills and tools that connect AI assistants to Microsoft 365 work data: mail, documents and meetings. The set is in Public Preview. Plugins install into Claude Code and GitHub Copilot CLI through the marketplace (`/plugin marketplace add microsoft/work-iq`, then `/plugin install workiq@work-iq`), and there are also `workiq-preview`, `microsoft-365-agents-toolkit` and `workiq-productivity`. The npm package `@microsoft/workiq` installs with `npm install -g @microsoft/workiq`, and the MCP mode launches through `npx -y @microsoft/workiq mcp`.
Who it is for. For employees of companies on Microsoft 365 who want to ask an assistant about their mail, documents and meetings.
