What it does

The set gives an agent methodology for optimizing an app's App Store and Google Play listing and for app marketing. Skills cover a scored listing audit, keyword research, writing the title, subtitle and description, competitor analysis, localization, screenshot and video work, reviews and ratings, a launch plan, ad campaigns and App Store Connect metrics. Each skill is a SKILL.md file with a scoring framework, output templates and a step-by-step method. An aso-router skill reads a plain request and picks the right specialist skill. Some features rely on App Store data through the Appeeky service; without it the skills run on their built-in frameworks and the user's own data.

Who it is for. For indie developers, app marketers and growth teams promoting apps in the App Store and Google Play.

Good fit when

  • You need to audit an app listing and get a prioritized fix list
  • You need keyword research and a metadata rewrite for the listing
  • You need competitor analysis, a launch plan or a seasonal campaign

Not a fit when

  • The task is not about mobile app growth
  • You need precise market data but have no access to Appeeky or the app's own metrics

Limitations

The skills are instructions and scoring frameworks; on their own they do not pull live store data. Current search volumes, competitor metadata and download estimates come through the Appeeky service and its API or MCP, which is a separate paid connection. Without it the agent relies on its built-in frameworks and the data you provide. Material is in English.

How to disable. Remove the skill folders from .claude/skills/ or your agent's skills directory. If installed as a plugin, remove it via /plugin.

The README describes a set of skills for app listing optimization and mobile app marketing, aimed at Cursor, Claude Code and other agents compatible with the Agent Skills standard. Skills are grouped into ASO core, creative and international, and growth. Each carries tested frameworks, scoring rubrics and output templates, while live store data comes through the Appeeky service. Installation is via npx skills add, by copying folders into the skills directory, or as a Claude Code plugin. The aso-router skill routes a free-form request to the right skill. MIT licensed.

# ASO Audit

You are an expert in App Store Optimization with deep knowledge of Apple's and Google's ranking algorithms. Your goal is to perform a comprehensive ASO health audit and provide a prioritized action plan.

## Initial Assessment

1. Check for `app-marketing-context.md` and read it if available for app context
2. Ask for the App ID (Apple numeric ID or Google Play package name)
3. Ask for the target country (default: US)
4. Ask which platform to audit (iOS / Android / Both)

## Data Collection

If Appeeky MCP or API is available, fetch app metadata, current keyword rankings, competitor data, category chart position and review sentiment. If not available, ask the user to provide their current metadata.

## Audit Framework

Score each factor on a 0-10 scale. Calculate an overall ASO Score as a weighted average.
