What it does

Bankr Skills is a repository of ready skills that connect an agent to crypto services. Each skill sits in its own folder with a SKILL.md, a catalog.json and reference material, and the README holds a table of provider, skill and description. Providers include Uniswap, Alchemy, Zerion, Base, EthSkills, Symbiosis, Veil Cash, Zyfai and others. The skills cover different jobs. Alchemy serves blockchain data, balances, NFTs and transfer history. Zerion shows a portfolio and positions across dozens of networks. The Uniswap and Base suites go from planning a swap and configuring a network to running a node. Suwappu offers cross-chain swaps, read-only by default, and the WAKE skill scores Base tokens through an open endpoint with no auth. The main bankr skill works with the @bankr/cli CLI and a bk_ key. It handles token trading, transfers, balances and PnL. Some third-party skills execute transactions through Bankr and others work independently. A skill is installed by telling the agent the address of its folder on GitHub.

Who it is for. For developers and traders who build crypto agents and want to plug in wallets, swaps and onchain data with ready skills.

Good fit when

  • The agent needs wallet data: portfolio, DeFi positions and transaction history through Zerion or Alchemy
  • You are building on Base or Uniswap and need vetted references for the network, contract deployment and v4 hooks
  • You need cross-chain token swaps with quotes and a preview before execution
  • The project audits smart contracts: the EthSkills suite has a 500-plus item audit checklist
  • You want a quick score for a Base token and its contract safety without an API key

Not a fit when

  • You want one skill with a simple install: the collection is large, install only the folders you need
  • The agent must not get access to money: the bankr skills can transfer and trade
  • You need a verified license: the repository has no LICENSE file
  • The task has nothing to do with blockchains or crypto services

Example request

Install the alchemy skill from https://github.com/BankrBot/skills/tree/main/alchemy and show the token balances for this address on Base

Limitations

The repository is a catalog of third-party and in-house skills, and quality and upkeep differ for each. A skill is copied whole: a SKILL.md without its references folder is not enough, and the links inside it go dead. The main skill needs the @bankr/cli CLI and a sign-up that issues a bk_ key, and logging in means accepting the service terms.

Some skills are paid through x402, which means USDC micropayments per request. The repository states no license. Availability of Bankr and the connected crypto protocols from Russia is not covered in the description.

How to disable. Delete the skill's folder from the agent's skills directory. For the main skill also log out of the bankr CLI and revoke the bk_ key at bankr.bot/api-keys.

FAQ

How do I install a skill from Bankr Skills?

Tell the agent: install the skill-name skill from https://github.com/BankrBot/skills/tree/main/skill-name, with the folder name filled in. The agent has to fetch the whole folder with its references and scripts.

What does the main bankr skill do?

It works with the Bankr crypto agent: trading and swapping tokens and tokenized stocks, balances and PnL, transfers and perps. Access goes through the @bankr/cli CLI or the REST API with a bk_ key, and sign-up creates EVM and Solana wallets.

Can a key be limited to read-only?

Yes. Keys can be created read-only: the --read-only flag at email login suits research and monitoring. There are also an allowlist of recipient addresses and an IP allowlist.

Which providers are in the collection?

The README table lists Uniswap, Alchemy, Zerion, Suwappu, Base, EthSkills, Symbiosis, Polygon, TrustLayer, Veil Cash, Versa, WAKE, WaybackClaw, Zyfai and others. The Uniswap, Base and EthSkills suites consist of several skills that install independently.

Is Bankr required for the other skills?

Not for all. Alchemy, Zerion and WAKE work through their own APIs. Skills such as Symbiosis and Trails use Bankr to execute transactions, as their descriptions say.

README in short

The README is short: a heading, the install phrase pointing at a skill folder, and a large table of available skills with providers and descriptions. Details of each skill live in its folder, and the main bankr skill's SKILL.md covers login, the CLI and references.

# Bankr

Bankr is an AI crypto agent that holds its own wallets. Two ways in, both using the same `bk_...` API key:

- **Bankr CLI** (`@bankr/cli`, recommended). It handles login, job polling and confirmations for you.
- **REST API** at `https://api.bankr.bot`. Use `/agent/*` for natural-language prompts (async jobs) and `/wallet/*` for direct, synchronous wallet operations.

**Installing this skill means downloading the whole `bankr/` folder: this `SKILL.md` plus every file in [references/](references/).** A copy of `SKILL.md` alone leaves every reference link below dead.

This file is the entry point. Topic detail lives in [references/](references/) (read the one for your task before acting), in the docs at [docs.bankr.bot](https://docs.bankr.bot), and in the OpenAPI spec at `https://docs.bankr.bot/openapi/api.yaml`. **Fetch the spec instead of guessing a route or payload.** It is the authoritative request/response schema and can be newer than this skill.

## Get an API key

**Check whether you're already authenticated.** The host may supply the key, either as `BANKR_API_KEY` or through an egress proxy that attaches it to requests. Try `bankr whoami`, or make a request, before logging in, and never ask the user to paste a key just because the variable is empty. See [host-managed credentials](references/safety.md#host-managed-credentials-no-key-on-disk).

Signing up provisions an EVM wallet (one address on every EVM chain) and a Solana wallet, so there is nothing to set up by hand.

### Headless email login (recommended for agents)

Run `bankr update` first. The flow below works on @bankr/cli 0.3.38 and later. Pass `--accept-terms` and `--key-name` explicitly: from 0.3.43 a headless login accepts the Terms by itself and picks a unique key name, but on 0.3.38 a headless login without `--accept-terms` fails after the one-time code has been used, and an omitted key name defaults to `CLI-<date>`, which collides with a key created earlier that day.

1. `bankr login email <email>` sends a one-time code.
2. Ask the user for everything in **one** message:
   - the **code** from their email;
   - their go-ahead on the **[Terms of Service](https://bankr.bot/terms)**. Share the link and say plainly that step 3 accepts the Terms on their behalf. **If they decline, stop.**
   - any changes to the key defaults below, and a **key name** (an active key can't reuse a name).
3. Run `bankr login email <email> --code <otp> --accept-terms --key-name "<name>" [flags]`.

| New-key default | Flag to change it |
| --- | --- |
| Wallet API on | `--no-wallet-api` |
| Agent API on | `--no-agent-api` |
| Token Launch API on | `--no-token-launch` |
| Read-write | `--read-only` (for research or monitoring keys that must never transact) |
| LLM gateway off | `--llm` |
