What it does
A repository of skills from the exchange itself, installed with one `npx skills add` command. The skills/binance folder holds the `binance` skill, which works through `binance-cli` with spot, futures and Convert. Alongside are skills for fiat payments, P2P, payments and Binance Academy. The skills/binance-web3 folder covers the on-chain side: `binance-agentic-wallet` (wallet sign-in, balance, transfers, swaps, limit orders, DeFi), token and contract checks, signals, wallet tracking and a leaderboard. `binance-onchain-copy-trader` is a scaffold for copy trading and ships no strategy of its own. Some endpoints require Binance API keys.
Who it is for. For developers and analysts who connect an agent to the Binance API and on-chain data and make trading decisions themselves.
Good fit when
- The agent needs token data: search, contract audit, rankings and signals
- You need to debug your own code against Binance Spot through `binance-cli` in the testnet or demo environment
- You want the `fiat` skill to tell you which countries, currencies and payment methods are available and to show fiat order history
- You are assembling a copy-trading scaffold from address monitoring, signals and token audit: `binance-onchain-copy-trader` wires them together
- The agent needs an on-chain wallet for transfers, swaps and limit orders through the `baw` CLI
Not a fit when
- You want advice on what to buy or sell: the README calls the project an informational tool with no investment recommendations
- You are not ready to give an agent API keys: some endpoints work only with BINANCE_API_KEY and BINANCE_SECRET_KEY
- Binance services are unavailable to you under the exchange's terms or your jurisdiction: the README warns that functionality varies by region
- You need other exchanges: see ccxt-mcp-server, which covers several venues
Example request
Using binance-cli in the testnet environment, show which parameters the order creation command takes, and send nothingLimitations
Availability of Binance to users in Russia depends on the exchange's own terms and your jurisdiction: the README only says functionality may vary by region or user profile and gives no confirmation for Russia. Check Binance's terms before installing. Installation needs Node.js 22 or newer, and the script installs `binance-cli` from GitHub releases. The default environment is live (BINANCE_API_ENV=prod), so set testnet or demo for trials. Binance states the materials are informational and recommend nothing, data may be inaccurate, and it may change or discontinue the feature.
How to disable. Delete the skill folders from the agent's skills directory, remove `binance-cli` and revoke the API key in your Binance account settings.
FAQ
How do I install Binance Skills Hub in Claude Code?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/binance/binance-skills-hub. Node.js 22 or newer is required. The binance skill also needs binance-cli, installed by a script from the binance/binance-cli releases.
Where should I keep Binance API keys?
The README allows the BINANCE_API_KEY and BINANCE_SECRET_KEY environment variables, a secrets file such as .env, or sending keys to the agent in chat. The binance skill forbids the agent to print env, read key files without an anchored pattern or log keys. Better not to send a key in chat: it stays in the history.
Can I try it without real money?
Yes, the binance skill reads BINANCE_API_ENV with the values prod, testnet and demo. The default is prod, so set testnet or demo before the first command.
Is this investment advice?
No. Binance's disclaimer says Skills Hub is an informational tool, does not recommend buying, selling or holding assets and does not guarantee data accuracy. Trading decisions are yours.
Is Binance available from Russia?
The sources do not say. The README only warns that functionality varies by region and user profile. Check the exchange's own terms for access.

README in short
The README presents Skills Hub as an open skills marketplace that gives agents access to crypto: token search, trades, wallet tracking, signals and DeFi. It names the single requirement (Node.js 22) and the install command, explains that some skills need API keys and shows the format of a new skill for contributors. It closes with a long disclaimer: the material is informational and counts as no investment advice, and digital asset prices swing sharply.
