What it does

Day1Global Skills is five skills that turn a question about stocks or the market into a structured analysis. The agent pulls fresh data through web search and scores it against a set scheme, and a skill activates when a matching topic comes up in conversation. tech-earnings-deepdive breaks down tech company earnings across 16 modules, from revenue quality to accounting and ESG, and looks at them through six investment schools, from quality compounding to deep value. us-value-investing rates a company on four axes: ROE sustainability, debt safety, free cash flow quality and economic moat. Each axis scores 0 to 3 points, and the total becomes a grade from A to D. us-market-sentiment tracks five indicators, among them the NAAIM index, the S&P 500 forward P/E and hedge fund leverage. macro-liquidity computes Fed net liquidity and tracks SOFR, the MOVE index and yen carry trade signals. btc-bottom-model combines 13 indicators into a market heat score from 0 to 100. The authors warn that the output is research material and not investment advice.

Who it is for. For private investors and analysts who study US stocks, the macro backdrop and Bitcoin and want structured analysis instead of a chaotic chat.

Good fit when

  • A tech company such as NVIDIA published earnings and you want a module-by-module breakdown with valuation takeaways
  • You want to test a company on four value-investing axes and get a grade from A to D
  • The US market jumped and you want to check sentiment indicators instead of gut feeling
  • You are trying to tell whether the Fed is tightening liquidity: net liquidity, SOFR, MOVE
  • You need a Bitcoin cycle summary with MVRV, NUPL and SOPR indicators

Not a fit when

  • You need personal investment advice: the skills give analytical frameworks and the decision stays with you
  • You are interested in Russian stocks and bonds: the set covers only the US market and Bitcoin
  • You need exact real-time data: the agent searches the web for it and can get it wrong
  • You need to execute trades: the skills buy and sell nothing

Example request

Break down NVDA's latest quarterly report with the tech-earnings-deepdive modules and single out the 1-3 forces that decide future value

Limitations

The skills get their data through the agent's web search, so accuracy depends on the pages found and on the model, and sources deserve a recheck. The set covers the US market and Bitcoin. The README is in English and Chinese, and the SKILL.md texts are in English.

The authors state in the description that results are based on public information and model estimates, serve only as research material and are not investment advice. Scores such as the Bitcoin heat index and entry and exit triggers should be read as a frame for thinking and not as a signal to trade.

How to disable. Delete the five skill folders from .agents/skills, .claude/skills or ~/.claude/skills depending on how you installed, and restart the agent.

FAQ

How do I install Day1Global Skills in Claude Code?

The simplest route: npx skills add https://github.com/star23/Day1Global-Skills --all, which puts the skills in .agents/skills. To call them like /btc-bottom-model, clone the repository and copy the needed folders into .claude/skills.

What goes into the value-investing score?

Four axes: ROE sustainability over three-plus years, debt safety, free cash flow quality and economic moat. Each is scored 0 to 3 for a maximum of 12. Grade A means 10-12 points and D means 0-3.

How many indicators does the Bitcoin cycle model have?

Thirteen: daily ones (ETF flows, funding rate, fear and greed index, long-short ratio) and weekly structural ones such as LTH-MVRV, NUPL, LTH-SOPR and STH-SOPR. The result sits on a 0-100 scale.

Do the skills give investment advice?

No. In the disclaimer the authors say the analysis rests on public information and model estimates and serves only as research. Investing carries risk, and the decision is yours.

Where do the skills get their data?

From the agent's web search. In macro-liquidity each indicator has set search queries, and in tech-earnings-deepdive sources are split into three tiers: primary sources, factual documents such as SEC filings, and analyst opinion.

README in short

The README is bilingual, with the English and Chinese parts mirroring each other. It starts with a table of five skills, then gives two install routes: through skills.sh and by copying into .claude/skills. Each skill is described with its indicators, scoring scales and sample questions. Below are a table of skill combinations and a disclaimer.

name: us-value-investing
description: US stock value investing analysis framework. Systematically evaluates listed companies through 4 core dimensions (ROE sustainability, debt safety, free cash flow quality, economic moat assessment), outputting investment ratings and analytical reasoning. This skill should be used when users mention topics such as whether a US stock is worth holding long-term, fundamental analysis of a company, ROE analysis, debt ratio assessment, free cash flow, economic moat, Buffett-style stock picking, value investing screening, how to read a company's financial reports, whether a stock's valuation is reasonable, etc. Even if users simply ask something general like "What do you think of stock XX?" or "Help me analyze XX's fundamentals," this skill should be triggered to provide a structured value investing analysis framework.

# US Stock Value Investing Analysis Framework

This skill helps you systematically analyze whether a US-listed company is worth holding long-term using Buffett-style value investing methods. Through quantitative assessment across 4 core dimensions, it provides a clear investment rating.

## Use Cases

Use this skill when users ask the following types of questions:
- Whether a particular US stock is worth buying/holding long-term
- Help me analyze a company's fundamentals
- How to interpret a company's financial report data
- Whether a company has an economic moat
- Help me screen stocks using value investing methods

## Analysis Framework

### 4 Core Assessment Dimensions

For each dimension, use web_search to look up the target company's latest financial report data, then evaluate according to the criteria below.

#### Dimension 1: ROE Sustainability (Return on Equity)

**What it is**: ROE (Return on Equity) = Net Income / Shareholders' Equity. Simply put: for every $100 shareholders invest in the company, how much profit can it generate in a year. An ROE of 15% means every $100 of shareholder capital creates $15 in profit. This is the single financial metric Buffett values most — he believes a truly excellent company should be able to consistently and efficiently deploy capital.

**Key point**: Don't look at just one year's ROE; check whether it has maintained a high level **consistently for 3+ years**. A single year of high ROE could be due to one-time factors (selling a building, winning a lawsuit), and only sustained high ROE demonstrates genuine competitive strength.

**Search keywords**: `[Company name] ROE history` or `[Company name/ticker] return on equity 3 year`

**Scoring criteria**:
- 3+ consecutive years ROE > 20% → ⭐⭐⭐ Excellent (3/3 points)
- 3+ consecutive years ROE > 15% → ⭐⭐ Good (2 points)
- ROE 10-15% or inconsistent → ⭐ Average (1 point)
- ROE < 10% or highly volatile → 0 points

**Common pitfalls**:
- High leverage can artificially inflate ROE. If a company has high ROE but also high debt, take it with a grain of salt.
- Share buybacks reduce shareholders' equity, thereby "inflating" ROE. This needs to be evaluated alongside actual earnings growth.
- Cyclical industries (e.g., oil, semiconductors) will see ROE fluctuate significantly with industry cycles; a full cycle should be examined.

---

#### Dimension 2: Debt Safety (Debt-to-Equity / Debt Ratio)

**What it is**: Measures how much a company borrows to fund its operations. Two commonly used metrics:
- **Debt-to-Asset Ratio** = Total Liabilities / Total Assets. 50% means half of the company's assets are funded by debt.
- **Debt-to-Equity Ratio** = Total Liabilities / Shareholders' Equity. 1.0 means borrowings equal shareholders' investment.
