What it does

The skill takes a keyword, a Yandex domain, a language and an lr region code, and pulls the organic results through a paid Apify actor: position, title, link, displayed link and snippet stamped with the run timestamp. Matching your own domain against the result rows and repeating the request on a schedule to build a rank history for Moscow, Saint Petersburg or any other region is left to you. Data comes not directly from Yandex but through a third-party scrape of its search results.

Who it is for. For people already using Apify who want a quick Yandex ranking check without setting up their own scraper.

Good fit when

  • You need a one-off or occasional ranking check for a few keywords
  • You already have an Apify account and are fine paying per actor result
  • A simple top-results position is enough, without Topvisor- or Wordstat-level analytics

Not a fit when

  • You need official data from the Yandex Search API or Yandex Webmaster, not a SERP scrape
  • You need automated recurring position history with storage and comparison: the skill does not track it for you

Limitations

Data comes not from Yandex itself but through a paid third-party Apify scraper, billed per result. The actor link in the README carries an affiliate fpr parameter, the author earns a referral through it. The skill does not store position history or match your domain itself, that is left to the user.

How to disable. Delete the apify-yandex-rank-tracker folder from your agent's skills directory.
