What it does
The set was assembled by the author from his talks and is written in Japanese. It teaches an agent to make Marp presentations where a story stands behind the tidy form. The author notes that AI produces even slides with thin content, and he turned his recurring corrections into rules and check scripts. The slide-story skill covers the story: a hook at the start, section divider slides, gradual disclosure, headline style, the ending and time estimates. The slide-figures skill sets how much information a figure holds, how to draw SVG, the minimum font size and where illustrations go. The slide-design-dark skill describes measuring margins, vertical balance, colors on a black background, table and code design and Marp pitfalls. The theme folder holds minorun-dark.css, a black theme with a cyan accent. In the tools folder, seven scripts check the exported PDF and SVG: bottom and right margins, gaps between a figure and text, small type in figures, text fit in boxes, contrast and repeated phrasing. A sample deck sits in examples/sample, and examples/broken is deliberately damaged so that the checks fire.
Who it is for. For speakers and teachers who build Marp slides with Claude Code and can read rules written in Japanese.
Good fit when
- You need a 20-minute deck for a meetup in a dark theme, for example slides for a quick talk
- The agent makes even slides but the talk comes out hollow: you need rules for the hook, divider slides and the ending
- A figure on a slide is overloaded: you need rules for what to include and a check of font size in SVG
- You need to measure a finished PDF: margins, gaps between a figure and text, and contrast of shapes
- Old slides are reused in a new talk and you need headings and figures compared by a script
Not a fit when
- You need a presentation outside Marp: the rules and the theme are written for Marp and would need manual porting
- You need a light or corporate brand style: the minorun-dark theme is black with a cyan accent
- Rules in Japanese are inconvenient for you: the skill texts are in Japanese and you would translate them yourself
- You need a deck for reading: the skill is built for a talk with a projector and spoken commentary

The skill texts and the README are written in Japanese. Export and checks need Marp CLI, Google Chrome, the poppler and mupdf-tools packages, and Python 3 with Pillow. The JavaScript scripts borrow puppeteer-core from Marp CLI, and the paths to it and to Chrome are set with the MARP_NODE_MODULES and CHROME_PATH variables.
The theme is meant for rounded gothic type: Zen Maru Gothic fits best, and without it macOS substitutes Hiragino Maru Gothic. The author uses a paid typeface, so letterforms in his published talks differ slightly.
Irasutoya illustrations are not included in the repository and fall outside the Apache 2.0 license: the sample deck requires downloading them with a script, and you must check the terms of use yourself. Whether the install is reachable from Russia was not checked for this card.
How to disable. Delete the three folders slide-story, slide-figures and slide-design-dark from `~/.claude/skills/`. The repository copy in `~/.claude/skill-repos/minorun-marp-skill` is needed only for the theme and the scripts and can be deleted separately.
FAQ
How do I install a Marp slides skill in Claude Code?
Give the agent the repository address and ask it to install the skills. By hand, put the repository in `~/.claude/skill-repos/minorun-marp-skill`, copy the three folders from `skills/` into `~/.claude/skills/` and start a new session.
How do I build a PDF with the minorun-dark theme?
Use `marp --no-stdin deck.md --pdf --theme theme/minorun-dark.css --allow-local-files`. At the top of the file set `marp: true` and `theme: minorun-dark`.
Which slide classes does the theme have?
top for the title slide, crosshead for divider slides, image-full for a heading with a large picture and split for text on the left and an image on the right. Default sizes: body 26 pt, h1 36 pt, divider 44 pt, cover 52 pt.
Which checks exist for the finished PDF?
check-dark-margins.py measures the bottom and right margins, check-dark-gaps.py the gaps between a figure and text, check-figure-text.py small type in figures. For SVG there are check-svg-box-fit.mjs and check-svg-contrast.mjs, for reused slides check-reuse-diff.py, and check-ai-smell.py looks for repeated phrasing.
Why does the sample deck have no illustrations?
Irasutoya pictures are not part of the repository because of licensing. Before exporting the sample, the script `examples/sample/fetch-illustrations.sh` downloads them, and you must check the terms of use yourself.
