What it does
The skill writes and edits official documents in Chinese: notices, requests, reports, letters, replies, minutes, work plans, summaries and speeches. It first identifies the document type from the task, then extracts facts from the material, picks a structure and writes the text. The rules are distilled from People's Daily articles and strong sample documents. The skill replaces abstract formulas with specifics: who is responsible, what was done, by when. Before output it scores the text on six criteria, from fact density to structural clarity.
Who it is for. Staff at Chinese public bodies and companies who draft official documents in Chinese with AI.
Good fit when
- A notice must be drafted with addressees, actions, requirements and a deadline.
- Rough meeting notes are turned into minutes with the standard structure.
- A report full of formulas and empty phrases is rewritten into specifics.
- Before sending, a draft is checked for a request mixed into a report.
Not a fit when
- The text must be in Russian or English, as the rules target Chinese official style.
- The document is legally binding and no manual review will follow.
- There are no facts available and the skill would be pushed to invent details.
Example request
Use $official-document-skill to write a notice: district schools check fire safety and wiring, deadline June 30.Limitations
The skill targets Chinese only and Chinese official writing practice: document forms, salutations and deadlines come from it. When facts are missing it leaves bracketed placeholders and asks for the data instead of inventing it. The six-criterion score is computed by the skill itself and does not replace human review. A document with legal consequences should be checked against current organisational rules. The README has no install command: the folder with `SKILL.md` is attached as an ordinary agent skill.
How to disable. Delete the skill folder from the agent skills directory and restart the session.
FAQ
Which document types does it write?
More than twenty: notice, request, report, letter, reply, minutes, decision, announcement, work plan, summary report and speeches.
What does stripping boilerplate mean?
Abstract formulas such as "strengthen responsibility" are replaced with a responsible party, an action and a deadline. It is text style editing.
How does it score the result?
On six criteria: fact density, document-type fit, tone restraint, natural phrasing, abstraction control and structural clarity. Below 70 points the text is rewritten as a whole.
How do I invoke it?
Name the skill in the request, for example `$official-document-skill`, and attach the facts. The README shows this example.
What if facts are thin?
The skill leaves visible bracketed placeholders and asks for the data: names, figures and deadlines.
