What it does

The set gives Claude eight skills for SEO and generative engine optimization that run on the site's own data through the Ryze MCP connector. The skills cover site audits, keyword research, rank tracking, competitor gap analysis, backlink profiles, AI visibility, content briefs and a cross-check of organic rankings against paid clicks. Positions come from Google Search Console, traffic from GA4, keyword volumes from the Google Ads planner, and competitor, backlink and SERP data from DataForSEO wired into the connector. Each skill is a SKILL.md file with triggers and a step-by-step method that calls provider-namespaced MCP tools. The skills themselves are MIT licensed.

Who it is for. For SEO specialists, marketers and site owners who want to analyze their growth from their own Google data rather than estimates.

Good fit when

  • You need a site audit from real Search Console and GA4 data
  • You need keyword research, rank tracking or a competitor gap analysis

Not a fit when

  • You have no connected Ryze connector with access to your Google accounts
  • You need estimated metrics for someone else's site without access to its data

Limitations

The skills are useless without the Ryze connector: it runs at connector.get-ryze.ai/mcp, requires signing into a Ryze account and a one-time connection of Google Search Console, GA4 and ads accounts. Some competitor and backlink data flows through DataForSEO inside the connector; Ahrefs and Semrush connect separately with your own subscription. The tool itself is free with no markup on calls, but depends on an external hosted service and access to your Google accounts.

How to disable. Uninstall the plugin via /plugin, or delete the copied skill folders from ~/.claude/skills/. Remove the Ryze connector in the agent's connector settings.

## Requires

The free Ryze MCP connector (`https://connector.get-ryze.ai/mcp`). Claude Code: `claude mcp add ryze --transport http https://connector.get-ryze.ai/mcp`. claude.ai / Desktop / Cursor: add it as a custom connector with the same URL.

Audit the user's site using their own data via the Ryze MCP. No estimates — everything below comes from their actual GSC/GA4.

## Workflow

1. Pick the property. `google_search_console__listSites`.
2. Indexation. `google_search_console__getIndexationSummary`.
3. Performance baseline. `google_search_console__runRawSearchAnalytics`: last 90 days vs previous 90.
4. Find the problems: decaying pages, CTR anomalies, striking distance, cannibalization.
5. Spot-check pages with `google_search_console__inspectUrl`.
6. Cross-check traffic with `google_analytics__runRawReport`.
7. AI traffic via `google_analytics__getAIReferrals`.

The skills are MIT and free, with no markup on API calls. Data flows through your Ryze workspace; extra sources like Ahrefs and Semrush connect with your own subscription.

Where do the numbers come from?
