What it does
SuperSEO Skills is a set of eleven SEO skills that each take one input: a page URL or a keyword. The agent gathers the data itself. page-audit fetches the page, identifies the primary keyword, searches Google for it, reads the top three results and scores the page across seven dimensions. The output has named competitors, character-counted rewrites and scores from 1 to 10. The other ten skills cover neighboring jobs. content-brief, write-content and improve-content carry an article from the brief to rewriting finished text. keyword-deep-dive makes a 90-day plan, and topic-cluster-planning splits a topic into a hub and pages. Four more check E-E-A-T signals, find missing entities, prepare a featured snippet block and pick link tactics. The last one, expert-interview, draws first-hand experience out of an expert. Every skill has its own references folder with templates and playbooks it loads on demand. The methodology draws on the approaches of Koray Tuğberk Gübür, Kyle Roof and Lily Ray and includes a ruleset against AI-sounding text.
Who it is for. For SEO specialists, content marketers and site owners working in Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor who want an audit or a brief from a single link.
Good fit when
- You need to check one page and compare it with the top three results for its main query
- You are preparing an article and want a brief built from ten search results, with content gaps marked
- A page already ranks for a query and you need a rewritten answer block for the featured snippet
- You need to split a topic into a hub with pages and get a publishing order
- You want real expert experience in the text: the skill asks targeted questions and feeds the answers into the writing
Not a fit when
- You need a technical audit of a whole site crawling thousands of pages: the skills handle single pages and queries
- Your agent has no web access: the skills fetch pages and search Google on their own
- You work on Yandex and Russian search results: the analysis in the README is built around Google
- You expect ready traffic and ranking data from Search Console: the skills do not use such connections
Example request
Run page-audit on https://example.com/blog/title-tags and show where my page falls short of the top three resultsLimitations
- The repository is Markdown files with no executable code. The agent does all the work, and quality depends on its web access and model.
- The writing rules and examples are tuned for English text.
- The method is opinionated: the author relies on his own reading of what ranks, so check conclusions against official search engine guidance.
- The author promotes a paid service, InhouseSEO, with an MCP connector and a 14-day trial. The skills work without it.
- Claude.ai and Claude Desktop take one archive per skill, and the plan must support custom skills (Pro or higher).
How to disable. In Claude Code run `/plugin uninstall superseo@superseo-skills`. If you copied the folders, delete them from ~/.claude/skills/. In Cursor remove the copied files from .cursor/rules/, and in Claude.ai remove the skill under Skills.
FAQ
How do I install SuperSEO Skills in Claude Code?
Run `/plugin marketplace add inhouseseo/superseo-skills` and `/plugin install superseo@superseo-skills`; the skills are then discovered automatically. Update with `/plugin marketplace update superseo-skills`. By hand you can clone the repository and copy skills/* into ~/.claude/skills/.
How do I use SuperSEO Skills in Claude.ai or Claude Desktop?
In Settings, Features, Skills click the plus and upload the archive of the skill you need from the Releases page, for example page-audit.zip. A Pro plan or higher is required and one skill uploads at a time. Skills do not sync between devices and accounts.
How do I install SuperSEO Skills in Cursor?
Clone the repository and copy each skill's SKILL.md into .cursor/rules/ named after the skill folder with an md extension. A shell loop copies all eleven files at once.
What if page-audit cannot fetch the page?
The agent asks you to paste the page content into the chat by hand.
Do I need exports or API keys?
No. The input is only a URL or a keyword and the agent gathers the data itself. The paid InhouseSEO service is separate and not required for the skills.

--- name: page-audit description: Use when auditing a specific page's SEO performance, content quality, and competitive position. The agent fetches the URL, Googles the primary keyword, reads the top 3 competitors, and produces a full 7-dimension audit — no exports, no analytics access required. --- # Page Audit A complete SEO audit on a specific URL. The agent does all the research itself: fetches the page, identifies the primary keyword, runs a Google search, reads the top 3 competitors, and audits across seven dimensions. No GSC access, no crawl exports, no manual data pasting. ## Input One thing: **the URL to audit**. That's it. The agent handles the rest. ## Role You are a senior content strategist who has spent 15+ years in the trenches of organic growth — not following Google's official guidelines, but reverse-engineering what actually ranks, what actually gets clicked, what actually converts. ## Step 1: Fetch and Read the Page Fetch the URL and read the full rendered content. Note: - Title tag, meta description, H1, H2/H3 structure - Word count, content structure, internal links, external links - Schema markup present - Publish date / last updated - Author byline and bio - The apparent primary topic and intent If the fetch fails or returns incomplete content, ask the user to paste the page content directly. ## Step 2: Identify the Primary Keyword From the title, H1, first paragraph, and meta description, determine the primary keyword the page is targeting. State your reasoning in one sentence. ## Step 3: Research the SERP Google the primary keyword. Read the top 10 results, with special attention to the top 3.
