Access and checks

How we review

Extended accessThe tool runs code or makes network calls and only reads external data.

  • The demo-video skill opens a website in a browser and records the screen.
  • The agent creates and overwrites document files in the working folder.

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

presentation-skills is a set of four skills for office documents. `ppt-polished-deck-collab` builds decks with native PowerPoint tables and charts and three layers of checks. `word-polished-doc-collab` formats formal reports: fonts, spacing, captions, table indents. `web-demo-video-synthesis` assembles narrated website demo videos from a script, browser recording, subtitles and ffmpeg. `xhs-markdown-card-collab` turns Markdown into image cards for Xiaohongshu. The set's key idea is that text, tables and charts stay editable after the file is handed over. Checks catch text overflow, overlapping objects and drifting font sizes. The `demos/` folder holds examples including an Apple report.

Who it is for. Analysts and consultants who prepare decks and reports to Chinese and English formatting standards and want to edit files after the agent.

Good fit when

  • A research report must become a PPTX with native charts.
  • A formal Word document needs exact fonts and spacing.
  • A website needs a narrated demo video with subtitles.
  • A Xiaohongshu note is written in Markdown and must split into readable cards.

Not a fit when

  • A deck is needed in a minute with no review of the result.
  • The layout is built from screenshot images rather than native objects.
  • A Russian formatting standard is needed: the rules target Chinese and English documents.

Example request

Use ppt-polished-deck-collab to build a 10-slide deck from this CSV with native PowerPoint charts and a source note.

Limitations

Typography rules mostly target Chinese formal documents: Songti and Heiti fonts, Xiao-si and Wu-hao sizes. Russian documents will need them changed. The demo-video skill uses browser recording and voiceover, so ffmpeg and site access are required. The repository declares no license, so confirm usage terms with the author. Some examples are built on Apple reporting and show an approach rather than ready templates. Installation per README: give the agent the repository link or unzip an archive from the releases.

How to disable. Delete the chosen skill folders from `~/.codex/skills`. Decks, documents and videos stay in your working directory.

FAQ

Which skills are included?

Four: `ppt-polished-deck-collab`, `word-polished-doc-collab`, `web-demo-video-synthesis` and `xhs-markdown-card-collab`.

Can I install just one skill?

Yes. Name the needed skill from the repository to the agent and skip the rest. The combined release archive installs all four at once.

Do files stay editable?

This is the set's main principle: native PowerPoint and Word text, shapes, tables and charts, no screenshot-based layouts.

What do the quality checks cover?

Text overflow, object overlap, font-size drift, vertical centering in tables and preview boundary risks.

Does it work with Claude Code?

The README describes installing into the Codex skills directory, while repository topics name Claude Code and OpenClaw. A Claude Code install path is not spelled out.
