What it does

The Remotion team maintains skills with best practices for Remotion projects. remotion-create scaffolds a project or composition, remotion-markup covers animation, layout, fonts, audio and timing, remotion-studio opens the preview, and remotion-render renders a video or still. Further skills cover maps, captions, SaaS architecture on Remotion, documentation lookup, package upgrades and media handling with Mediabunny.

Who it is for. Developers and content creators who build videos programmatically with React.

Limitations

The skills target Remotion projects and do not replace the docs on licensing or cloud rendering. If unsure which skill to use, start with remotion-best-practices, which covers the others.

How to disable. Remove the installed remotion-* skill folders from your agent's skills directory.

• Skills are instructions and best practices
• The studio and render skills run Remotion commands in your project

Remotion publishes Agent Skills for Claude Code, Codex, Kimi Code and Cursor. Install via npx skills add or when creating a new project. ## Preserve user changes

Users may make edits in the code outside of the conversation.
