What it does
rtadewald/skills, the author's personal Portuguese-language set, lives in one repository with a separate `SKILL.md` in each folder. The core is design: `extract-ds`, `ds-from-html`, `ds-from-react` and `ds-from-img` turn a finished site, HTML, a React app or a mock into a living component library, while `img-to-html` builds a page from a mock through an ASCII wireframe and approval gates. Beyond design there is image generation and editing (`to-img`, `openrouter-img`, `nano-banana-pro`, `fal-ai`), video work (`mediabunny`, `video2html`) and planning: `grill-me` interviews you about a plan, `to-tickets` cuts a plan into tasks, `handoff` compacts a conversation for the next agent and `context7-mcp` pulls current library documentation.
Who it is for. Frontend developers and designers who build interfaces from mocks with an agent and want ready working routines.
Good fit when
- A design system needs pulling out of an HTML reference as a living component page.
- A mock image becomes `index.html` and styles in stages with approval at each one.
- A plan should be interrogated branch by branch before work starts.
- A conversation grew too long and its context must be compacted into a document for the next agent.
Not a fit when
- You need a vetted package with one install command and versions: the set has neither.
- You work without access to external APIs: some skills call OpenRouter and fal.ai.
- A clear license is required: none is declared in the repository.
Example request
Use the extract-ds skill to pull a design system from this site and show Overview and Components for approval.Limitations
No license is declared in the repository, which matters for commercial use. Skill texts and the README are mostly in Portuguese. The author gives no install command, so directories are copied by hand. Skills such as `openrouter-img` read `OPENROUTER_API_KEY` from `.env` and spend paid model requests. Some skills (`grill-me`, `handoff`, `openrouter-img`) disable automatic invocation and run only by name. `find-font` relies on a separate local API at `127.0.0.1:8000`.
How to disable. Delete the copied skill folders from the agent's skills directory, for example `~/.agents/skills/`, and start a new session. Revoke any keys kept in `.env` at the provider.
FAQ
How many skills are in the set?
The repository tree holds 35 `SKILL.md` files; the README groups the main ones by topic: screens, design system, images, video, planning and utilities.
How do `ds-from-html` and `extract-ds` differ?
`ds-from-html` turns an HTML reference into `design-system.html`, while `extract-ds` captures a finished site as a working copy, preserving the runtime or converting it for `file://`.
How does `grill-me` run a conversation?
It builds a decision tree and asks questions in rounds, attaching a recommended answer to each, then recomputes the frontier after your replies.
Do image skills need a key?
For `openrouter-img` yes: `OPENROUTER_API_KEY` is read from `.env` in the working folder or from `~/.env`.
Which skills skip automatic invocation?
`grill-me`, `handoff` and `openrouter-img` set `disable-model-invocation: true` in the header, so an agent runs them only by name.
