Postmypost and Make recipe: a post with an AI picture
Postmypost Make
The official Postmypost recipe for Make (Integromat): an AI picture, API upload and publication creation with HTTP modules
Extended access
Why this level
- The scenario calls the Postmypost API with an access token and creates publications on behalf of your account
- In the recipe the publication is created with status 4, a draft: check the status before running on a schedule
Install
- Services
Manual install
Open the Postmypost recipe for Make at https://help.postmypost.io/ru/docs/cookbook/make, create an access token in the Access tokens section of Postmypost and build the scenario step by step. Create the publication with the draft status first.
Access and checks
How we reviewExtended accessThe tool runs code or makes network calls and only reads external data.
- The scenario calls the Postmypost API with an access token and creates publications on behalf of your account
- In the recipe the publication is created with status 4, a draft: check the status before running on a schedule
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
The recipe from the Postmypost help describes a six-step Make scenario: a manual, scheduled or webhook start, image generation with the OpenAI module or an external service, then three HTTP Make a request calls for upload init, completion and status, and creation of a publication with file_ids. Each call comes with the method, headers and request body.
Who it is for. For SMM specialists and marketers who build Make automations and want to publish to Postmypost with no manual step.
Good fit when
- You need a post with an AI-generated picture on a schedule or by a button in Make
- You need to upload files to Postmypost by link through the API
- You need a ready order of calls: file upload, status check, publication creation
Not a fit when
- You need an agent that decides what to publish: Postmypost MCP fits that
- You have no Postmypost access token: the API rejects requests without it
Example request
Build a Make scenario: a neural network draws a picture, upload it to Postmypost and create a draft publicationLimitations
The recipe describes one scenario: an AI picture, upload to Postmypost and publication creation. Project and rubric IDs in the examples are placeholders, substitute your own. The access token is created in Postmypost, the Access tokens section, the Create button. The OpenAI image module must be included in your Make plan.
How to disable. Turn off or delete the scenario in Make and revoke the access token in Postmypost, the Access tokens section.
FAQ
How do I get a token for the Postmypost API?
In Postmypost open the Access tokens section, click Create, name the token and save the generated value. Send it in the Authorization: Bearer header in every HTTP module request.
Do I need a Make plan with the OpenAI module?
The OpenAI module (Images, DALL·E) is needed if you generate the picture inside Make. Instead the recipe allows an HTTP module calling a third-party service that returns a link to a ready picture.
How is the Make recipe different from the n8n one?
The steps are the same: file upload, status check, publication creation. In Make the Postmypost calls go through HTTP Make a request modules, while in n8n they are separate nodes with the same requests.
