The server generates its tools automatically from the official VK API schema, covering 180+ methods: users, wall, groups, friends, photos, video, messages, market, stats, stories, polls. A safe limited default set is enabled, with the full list available via VK_MCP_MODE=all. Methods can be filtered by mode: read-only, read plus non-financial writes, or allowing financially sensitive methods, and whole API sections such as ads or secure can be included or excluded. The VK API schema downloads automatically on first run. It supports stdio, Streamable HTTP and SSE transports.

Given the breadth of coverage, some of the 180+ methods may need token scopes a regular user account does not have. VK_MCP_MODE=all exposes financially sensitive methods, so enabling it should be a deliberate choice. The README does not publish version numbers, and there were no releases at the time of review.
