LetsFG

MCP server and CLI for flight and hotel search and booking: hundreds of airlines, real prices, booking via a tool call

MCP serverOfficial

High risk

We rate an entry high when the tool writes to external systems, handles money, production databases or secrets, or runs arbitrary commands. The CLI installs it only with your consent.

Why this level

  • Books real flights and hotels and holds payment on the connected card
  • Requires real passenger passport and contact details
  • Talks to the external commercial letsfg.co service and its sellers

letsfg/letsfg

Install

In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI

npx skillfoxx add mcp/letsfg

Detects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.

Other ways to install

Assembled automatically, review before installing.

This entry is high risk, so there is no one-click install. Review the code and add the config by hand.

Run in a terminal

claude mcp add --transport stdio --env 'LETSFG_API_TOKEN=<your LETSFG_API_TOKEN>' letsfg-mcp -- node

Or add to the file .mcp.json, in the project

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "letsfg-mcp": {
      "command": "node",
      "args": [],
      "env": {
        "LETSFG_API_TOKEN": "<your LETSFG_API_TOKEN>"
      }
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

Keys and settings

LETSFG_API_TOKENsecret, required
API token for authorization as Bearer token

Replace the values in angle brackets with your own. Keys never go into install links and are not stored by us.

Add to the file ~/.cursor/mcp.json, for all projects

        "LETSFG_API_TOKEN": "<your LETSFG_API_TOKEN>"
      }
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key. For a single project, put the same block into .cursor/mcp.json.

Text for your agent

Connect the hosted MCP server at https://letsfg.co/developers/api/mcp and approve it; on the consent step connect a card via letsfg.co/connect. Alternatively run the local server npx -y letsfg-mcp with the token in LETSFG_BEARER_TOKEN. Search first, and only book after the user confirms.

    }
  }
}

Hosted server, no install. The consent step opens letsfg.co/connect to connect a card; the token is carried on every call automatically.

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

LetsFG connects an AI agent to the letsfg.co server-side travel search and booking engine. Flight search covers hundreds of airlines and major booking sites and can assemble connections from separate carriers' tickets; hotel search returns real rates marked refundable or non-refundable. Search is free and booking is real: the price is held on the connected card, a LetsFG operator buys the ticket, and the hold is captured only once a real airline PNR exists. The tools are available as a hosted MCP server over a URL and as a local server via npx, and the same engine can be called from a CLI after pip install. Booking requires connecting a card once through letsfg.co/connect and getting a token.

Who it is for. For agent developers and people who want to search and book flights and hotels straight from an assistant.

Good fit when

  • You want the agent to search flights and hotels across many sources in one call
  • You want to compare real airline prices without an aggregator markup
  • You want the agent to place a booking with a real PNR after a human confirms

Not a fit when

  • You have no connected card and token, so booking is unavailable
  • You cannot share real passenger passport and contact details with the service
  • You need a one-off answer without connecting an MCP server

Example request

Find the cheapest nonstop flights from Istanbul to Barcelona on April 15 and show the refund conditions

Limitations

This is an interface to the commercial letsfg.co service, not a standalone tool. Search is free, but booking charges real money and the service margin is inside the ticket price. Booking requires connecting a payment card through letsfg.co/connect and getting a token, and hotel search beyond the per-booking limit becomes paid. Booking needs real passenger data, which goes to the service and the seller. The separate Developer API is a paid product for high volume that most agents do not need. Availability of letsfg.co from some regions is not guaranteed.

How to disable. Remove the letsfg entry from the client's MCP config or turn off the connector. The local package is removed via npm, the CLI via pip uninstall letsfg. Card access is revoked on the letsfg.co side.

Environment variables
LETSFG_BEARER_TOKEN
required, secret
Card-backed token from the connect flow at letsfg.co/connect. It searches and books.
LETSFG_API_KEY
secret
Alternative to the token: a key for the separate paid Developer API for high volume.

Security check

  • Books real flights and hotels and holds payment on the connected card

README in short

The README presents LetsFG as a way to give an AI agent flight and hotel search and booking through the letsfg.co server-side engine. Server search covers hundreds of airlines and major booking sites, assembles cross-airline connections and expands a city into all its airports. Three paths are shown: MCP, CLI and SDK for personal and agent use, a direct API call with a Bearer token, and a separate paid Developer API for high volume. Connecting via the hosted MCP server goes through consent at letsfg.co/connect, where a card is connected without a charge, and issues a token that searches and books. The local server installs via npx letsfg-mcp, the CLI via pip install letsfg. MIT licensed.

FAQ

Is search paid?

No, flight search is free. Money moves only at booking: the price is held on the card and captured once a real PNR exists, and a failed booking releases the hold.

How does the agent get access?

Through the hosted MCP server: the consent step opens letsfg.co/connect to connect a card and issues a token that searches and books. The separate paid Developer API is not needed for most agents.
