Broad access
Why this level
- Payment and banking API keys give the agent access to accounts, charges and statements
- The servers create payments, issue tax documents and send customers messages
- Packages for many third-party providers install from npm and run through npx
Install
- Works in
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add mcp/mcp-dev-latamDetects the agents on your machine, shows the access level and pins the version.

What it does
MCP Dev LATAM is an open set of MCP servers, each wrapping one provider's API in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru. Servers are grouped by area: payments (46 servers), banking, Brazilian fiscal documents, messaging, logistics, ERP and accounting, identity, fraud, crypto and stablecoins. Four more servers cover agentic payment protocols. A typical flow: an agent creates a Pix charge through Asaas, Mercado Pago or Zoop, issues an NF-e in Nuvem Fiscal or Focus NFe, quotes shipping and prints a label in Melhor Envio, sends tracking over WhatsApp, records the order in an ERP such as Omie or Bling and reconciles the balance at a bank. Each server installs as its own `@codespar/mcp-<name>` npm package. A provider's API host can be replaced with an environment variable of the form `<PREFIX>_BASE_URL`, so a proxy, a mock or a relocated endpoint works. Keyless servers exist too, such as BrasilAPI with CEP addresses and CNPJ data. A weekly CI check finds servers whose hosts no longer exist.
Who it is for. For developers and online business owners in Latin America who want an agent to handle payments, tax documents, shipping and customer messages.
Good fit when
- You need to take a Pix payment and issue an NF-e in one agent workflow
- You must quote shipping, print a label and send the customer a tracking number
- You want CEP address or CNPJ company data with no key: the BrasilAPI server fits
- Balance and statement reconciliation at Brazilian banks should run from the agent
- A provider moved its API to another address and a changed environment variable is enough
Not a fit when
- You need payments in Russian services: the packages cover Latin American providers and a few international ones
- You need the UCP, AP2 or x402 protocol: these three servers are deprecated and their hosts do not answer
- The bank works by contract only: packages for Itaú, Bradesco, Santander, Caixa, BB, BTG and Sicoob are alpha and need access from the bank itself
- You need orchestration with approvals and an audit trail: the author offers it in a separate product, CodeSpar

Environment variables
ASAAS_API_KEYrequired, secret- Asaas API key, needed by the @codespar/mcp-asaas server
ASAAS_SANDBOX- The value true turns on the Asaas sandbox for safe testing
Limitations
Each provider has its own keys and access process, and some bank APIs open only by contract, for which `@alpha` versions exist. The UCP, AP2 and x402 servers are deprecated: on 27 September 2026 their hosts returned 404 or did not resolve in DNS. Eight more servers are deprecated for the same reason: C6, Dock, Matera, Legiti, Caf, Certta, Unico and Nubank. A sandbox mode exists for testing, for example `ASAAS_SANDBOX=true`. Details for each package are in its README under `packages/<category>/<name>/`.
How to disable. Remove the relevant server block from the MCP client config and restart the client. Provider keys live in your configuration; revoke them in the provider's dashboard if no longer needed.
FAQ
How do I connect an MCP Dev LATAM server to Claude Desktop?
In `claude_desktop_config.json` add a block with `"command": "npx"` and `"args": ["-y", "@codespar/mcp-asaas"]`, and put keys in `env`. The same package runs in any MCP client with `npx @codespar/mcp-asaas`.
Which servers can I try without a key?
BrasilAPI (CEP and CNPJ) and BCRA (Argentina's central bank data) are public and need no key. Run `npx @codespar/mcp-brasil-api` and ask the agent for an address by CEP.
What are the agentic payment protocols in this set?
Four servers for Stripe ACP, Google UCP, AP2 and x402. Only Stripe ACP reaches a live service; the author marked the other three deprecated because their hosts do not answer.
How do I point a server at a different API host?
Set `<PREFIX>_BASE_URL` with the prefix the server uses for its credentials, for example `CELCOIN_BASE_URL` or `STONE_BASE_URL`. A second host takes the form `<PREFIX>_<ROLE>_URL`, like `STONE_AUTH_URL`.
What does alpha mean for bank servers?
Packages for banks with contract-gated access, including Itaú, Bradesco, Santander, Caixa, BB, BTG and Sicoob, ship with the alpha tag and install with a command like `npx -y @codespar/mcp-itau@alpha`.

README in short
The README states the problem: every Latin American service has its own API and access scheme. It then lists agentic payment protocols with deprecated ones flagged, a quick start through Claude Desktop and npx, host overrides and the full order cycle. Tables of servers by area and country close it.
