What it does
The server gives an agent read access to Reddit content. It pulls hot threads from any subreddit and returns detailed post content together with comments. Different post types are supported: text, link and gallery. From this data the agent summarizes a discussion and highlights the main topics and sentiment. The server only reads public data and does not post anything on your behalf.

The server reads public Reddit content: hot threads and posts with comments. Posting, voting and private messages are not supported. It installs via uvx straight from the git repository; there is no separate PyPI package, and uv is required to run it. The depth and volume of results are limited by what Reddit returns.
How to disable. Remove the reddit block from your MCP client config and restart it. If you installed via Smithery, remove the server with its command.
